Love the original country crock spread. This is great for baking as well as using everyday on toast, bagels, and muffins. I love how creamy this spread is and full of flavor. This is the first time that I have had the opportunity to try this and it will not be the last. I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest review.

I received a complimentary box of it this time which was great since I didn't have to buy it and we were out!

This new recipe is nasty. I made mac & cheese for my young grandchildren and they wouldn't eat it because it tasted funny. I tasted it and it tasted like soured milk. We did not like the new flavor, the vinegary tang could be tasted in everything it was added to. Not the creamy taste of the Shedd's Country Crock I'm used to. I don't know why you changed a great product. NEW and simple isn't always better and in this case it certainly is not. I won't buy it again. Please change it back, until then I'll be using another brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the free product for my unbiased review, but have used Country Crock in the past. For starters, I love the new tub design. The previous design was bulky and took up quite a bit of space; however, the new design allows me to succeed at fridge tetris. I am really picky when it comes to butter/margarine/spread. A lot of the times, spreads leave a terrible aftertaste or are extremely oily. Country Crock original is bursting with country flavor and goes perfectly in muffins (made some banana muffins for my toddler last night), in mashed potatoes, cakes, on breads, etc. I can always count on Country Crock to deliver fresh country taste at an affordable price.

As a patron on CC forever I thought the new packaging was a bit overdue. Bought it, took it home and used it to make garlic toast that night. After the first bite I went to the fridge to see if I had gotten the wrong thing. Nope. Had the container gone bad? Nope. Just another company that thought they could "improve" their successful product... I'm now searching for a replacement. And it sure won't be County Crock...

I really like the taste of the butter and it spreads great! It was like a taste of my childhood. My kids and husband loves it with their breakfast toast and bagels. I definitely will be buying more of this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free to try. I just can't ever get over feeling like I'm eating artificial food with Country Crock. However, it does smooth really spreadably which is why I like to use it on bread.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not exactly a margarine connoisseur, by any means, but I did find Country Crock original to be a good solution for me. I use it in anything from toast in the morning, to the macaroni and cheese at dinner. It tastes good and doesn't have that oily fake texture some margarine can have. The new space saver tub is VERY handy, I will say. I have fibromyalgia and have a small dorm fridge close to my bedroom for quick foods for when I'm flaring. I like that this new tub is compact and fits under the small freezer section of my fridge. It even fits on the small shelf on the door that I never know what to use it for! All in all, the new tub is a win. My only complaint is the use of palm oils. I try to avoid purchasing products containing palm oil as much as possible. They aren't very humanely obtained and aren't environmentally friendly. I only use Country Crock when others offer it to me in their homes, or I've received it as a gift, usually from a well meaning relative purchasing groceries for me.
