[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the best surprise of my week. I was very hesitant to even use the product. I hadnt really used it since I was a kid. I had heard the recpie had changed, altering the flavor. But, tonight I gave it a shot. Omg!! It has the country goodness flavor I remember. In fact, im not sure why, but it tastes even better than I remember. I am so glad to have it back in my life. I will be telling everyone i know. It was creamy, flavorful and delicious!!

I had used Coutey Crock a lot in the past but had steered away in more recent years. I was presently surprised by the taste and how it tastes just as good if not better as other brands I had tried. I like how easy it is to spread. I had been buying stocks more recently and found that I need to continue to have spreadable Country Crock in my fridge as well.

As I grew up and moved out of the house, however, I ended up straying away from the brand, even though the spread still held a soft spot in my heart. When I found out I was chosen to sample and review their new and improved Original Style Butter Spread, I was delighted! And I was definitely not disappointed! It still had the wonderful, creamy texture that I always knew and loved, but it seemed even easier than ever to spread it - which is ALWAYS a plus! It tasted great, and it was a perfect substitute for butter. I used it for everything - on top of pancakes, on popcorn, in pie crust, in homemade pudding, and more. I didn't have a single complaint, and when I shared with friends and family, I received just as many, if not more, compliments on my baking than if I'd used real butter. I absolutely love this change, and I think it's made a great product even better.

As usual, it met and surpassed my standards for taste and creaminess. I like a margarine that not only tastes good, but is easy to spread. Country Crock nails it every time!

You have to be kidding me! I have used your spread for years! I bought the new stiff the other day and literally gagged when I tasted it. Why did u change the recipe? Was it broke??????? I hate, hate, hate it. I will have to find another brand. I guess you all were tired of being in business. I've never been soooooo disappointed that u all changed a good thing! ...and why does the new container say original when it is nowhere near it. Please bring back the old original recipe.
