Butter and margarine are both petty bad for you in my opinion. They don't taste that great either. Margarine is to salty and butter is to fatty. Country crock is perfect it has the best taste it's better for you than butter also. It's also a good source of calcium. I'll stick with my country crock spread from here on out because it is the best tasting around. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've tried many dairy free items to use with potatoes or bread when eating meat items (we keep kosher) and I used to eat Country Crock as a kid. The taste is so much better than I remember. It actually tastes like butter, instead of coconut oil, which usually isn't very appealing to me. This is amazing!!

The new rectangular container is terrible.  It's very thin plastic, and the lid does not firmly snap on.  It come off very easily if bumped in the fridge.  It is not airtight, and the top layer of the spread turns a bright yellow color if not used for a few days.  The container is not worth saving for leftovers, etc. so more plastic is being discarded in the trash/recycle.  Also the new recipe tastes bad.  I will not be buying Country Crock in the future.

As someone with a dairy sensitivity, it can be difficult to find ingredients that have what I need and don't contain dairy products. Country Crock original flavor has no dairy ingredients, a delicious butter flavor, and isn't prohibitively expensive like many vegan butter substitutes. I've found my new go-to margarine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This margarine is great for spreading on toast and bagels. The taste is very similar to butter, it is creamy and slightly salted. I think that baking with the margarine caused a different texture than regular butter. I would not replace margarine for my baking but it is very good for other butter uses.

I will not buy country crock again until they change the formula back. I have only used country crock for years and now have to find something else. My 6yr old immediately noticed. She asked me what I did to her mac and cheese and she refused to eat it. Please change it back!
