[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family has thoroughly enjoyed using the Country Crock Original spread for the past week on all varieties of bread, corn on the cob, and various cooking. The taste is creamy and buttery, just like a spread should be but without all of the chemicals and preservatives. I'm happy knowing that we're using a healthier alternative and the family is happy with the deliciousness!

Dislike the new taste... Yuck. Will need to go brand surfing. I loved the taste of the old original, the first time I put this on a bagel i truly thought it had gone bad. Will not purchase again, and I am someone who cooked with it, slathered it on my bagels, corn. It is awefull!!!!! I am someone who rarely seeks out the site to give a reveiw. I am sad.

I agree with the majority of other commenters that both the new packaging and the new recipe are a major disappointment. I could live with the packaging, but the new taste is just really, really bad. I work in manufacturing, so I understand making changes to reduce costs, but you're seriously going to lose a lot of customers with this, and the ones you pick up for the "healthier" recipe are not going to be enough to replace them. Please learn from the Coke people and go back to your apparently more complicated recipe. Then maybe we can all remember "New Country Crock" as just the terrible nightmare it was.

Soft and easy to spread. Great for kids! This is the go to butter our family used when I was a kid and it's still my favorite flavor/taste. Perfect for late night toast snack. The tub is perfect for leftovers like tupperware or for cans of jalapeno with carrot mixes. Great memories.

I have a lot of success using it on breads. I used this on top of some corn, it was delicious. Its great for cooking with and baking. I will be purchasing more in the future. It's so easy to just scoop out of the container and into whatever it cooking; mashed potatos, stovetop popcorn, cake mix. You get the picture. It melts easily and quickly. I've tried off brands but they definitely don't compare to country crock.

It too hard to spread on bread, or to scoop for measuring or to stir while baking unless it's melted. Country crock is not only delicious, it is so much easier to use!
