The taste is smooth and not to salty. It's great on toast by itself or to cook my favorite cookies with. I received this product for free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always used this as a kid so this is the only butter I ever use. I use this for a lot of different foods, from cooking to baking. I love how soft and smooth it is, and also how fast it melts. I use butter almost everyday and recently made fruity pebble treats, and came out so good, super goey. One thing I dislike is that when it's out for 5 minutes it starts getting a bit too soft but that can be solved by putting it back in the fridge right away. I also like the new style of the tub it comes in, it does save some space in your fridge. Thanks to Influenster I got to try this free for my honest review.

I love that it has the right amount of salty butter flavor! I used to eat this when I was younger and now I'm BACK!

Each time the tub is half full or less there is water in the butter. I pour it off and use it put it back in the fridge. I pull it out later and have to dump more water out. i was told it was the one with the Calcium. So now I bought the original to see if it is the Calcium one.

We have been using Country Crock spread since it first came out. My wife tried to change brands a couple of time through the years but I insisted we go back to Country Crock. We bought our first tub of the new recipe stuff and it will be our last. I think it tastes like plastic and will not buy any more Country Crock. It doesn't melt, spread or taste anywhere near as good as the original recipe, we will buy another brand as soon as we can get rid of what we have left of the "simple recipe".

Now that I am doing my own grocery shopping, I buy this spread for my home. I like the taste and consistency. Spreads easy. I really like that there aren't any preservatives. Now that I have gone to the website and seen that there are also recipes on it I think I am going to sign my email up so I can get them. I am always looking for different recipes to make for my family that aren't time consuming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this butter my mom has been using it since I can remember and you know when it's time to learn how to cook you trtb to stay as close to recipes as you can so this is Ole Faithful I grab this butter all the time. I love how it's so soft and easy to use it's never too salty it's always just right.

You have ruined your product. The new recipe is horrible tasting and ruined the bread I put it on. It was inedible. At first I thought the bread (toast) had gone bad. I will not be buying Country Crock anymore unless you switch it back to the ACTUAL original. My household has now switched to real butter after using County Crock for over 20 years.

Okay. I get trying something new. I felt tricked by the packaging. Original and all. Tasted tangy. Pickle like. Husband thought the cheese was bad on grilled cheese. Having said this, why didn't you just add to the product line instead of taking away the big ticket. I can't help but be reminded of coke when they tried a new recipe. They almost sank the ship. Please, for the love of food, bring back the real original.
