Although I'm happy with this margarine - I have used it for me and my family - I am highly upset by the price increase !!! That is absolutely outrageous!!

- 5 out of 5 stars review3/14/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I received a container of Original Country Crock complimentary to review I will be buying it again! I habe been a Country Crock fan from a young age, I am an even bigger fan now that they have a new simple recipe and I can read all of the ingredients; unlike a lot of products out there! I used this on toast, waffles, English muffins, and evwn to make butter noodles! We have almost used the majority of the container already. Time to put it on my shopping list!
Tastes delicious and so easy to spread
AmyH81Originally posted oncountrycrock.com - 3 out of 5 stars review3/27/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first tried this on my toast for breakfast. I am accustomed to usually eating real butter - so I could definitely taste the difference. In terms of health I don't think it's great for you - I think if you're going to have butter you should just have the real stuff. It didn't taste bad but maybe too buttery/sweet (I don't know to explain it) for me. I won't be purchasing again after the container, which is huge btw, is empty. I recieved this product for free in exchange for an honest review!
Okay product
kmaaaapOriginally posted oncountrycrock.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/15/2014Through the years CountryCrock has been ever changing and improving. When the health concern came out hydrogenated Oils...I stopped using CC because of that. I was not happy! So one day I picked up a tub of CountryCrock, sad that I could not use it anymore and low and behold, the lid said 'no hydroginated Oils'!!! Now I'm back to buying my favorite butter of all times. CountryCrock is good for spreading and cooking alike. Thank you Shedd's for CountryCrock. Thank you for helping me get my life back on track!
CountryCrock Rocks!

I'm thankful I got it just in time for today. It added a delicious, creamy flavor to our corn, stuffing, sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes. We even used it on our broccoli. It was great!
A delicious addition to our meal
Irenie001Originally posted oncountrycrock.com - 1 out of 5 stars review12/17/2015Our family used to love the old recipe and almost exclusively bought country crock. But the new recipe is so horrid we will NEVER buy country crock ever again, unless they see the error of their ways and change back the recipe. unfortunately a rating less than 1 is not possible taste would be -2
New recipe is TERRRIBLE

Why in the world would they change it except for maybe trying to pull a few extra cents profit out of each tub. I would gladly pay a few extra cents for the real "Original" Country Crock.... Now my butter money goes to Land O Lakes....
IF IT AINT BROKE.............

My family has been using it for generations! It spreads so easily, has a rich buttery taste, and I love the new container! Makes for a great giveaway container for leftovers.
Rich buttery taste

My family has been using Country Crock for as long as I can remember. My parents used it, therefore I use it with my family. The taste is like no other. We use it on a daily basis pretty much for every meal. I don't think we will ever buy another brand.
Love Country Crock

Its what my mother used as well so when I had the opportunity with Influenster to review for FREE I didnt hesitate. Great product will continue to use and share.
Been a Fan
queenashantiOriginally posted oncountrycrock.com - 1 out of 5 stars review10/15/2015I loved the round tubs of the original Country Crock and the flavor it had. This new square tub I don't like and the flavor is so different and changes the flavor of whatever you put it in for the worse. I always bought the biggest tub of original crock butter at least 1 a month and sometime 2 tubs a month. I want the tubs back with that flavor that enhanced the flavor in everything you put it in.
Wrong container & flavor
Granny SimsOriginally posted oncountrycrock.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/13/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok y'all, have to say that I was shocked to learn that Country Crock is not made with real butter. It tastes like it so it must be right? No! And that's why I love it so much, it's tasty, affordable, spreadable and dairy free! I can use it in everything from a spread on toast to saute in and even bake with!
Yummy and Dairy Free

I really like County crock and this new recipe makes it even better! I like to bake and using this in my cookies. The taste is excellent and it still spreads on toast right after taking it out of refrigerator.
Perfect
NancybethOriginally posted oncountrycrock.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/9/2016I received this product complimentary from influenster. I was very excited to had received this product. One thing I love about this product is you can use it in about just anything because you can never have enough butter. It had a great taste and it's so easy to spread which I loved mostly putting it on waffles or toast. You know it's a great product when you use it from breakfast to dinner. Also I comes in a small container to fit in just about anywhere in you refrigerator. I highly recommend this product to everyone.
Best thing ever!

I found the spread to be very easy to bake with. Great tasting in mashed potatoes. Spreads nicely on toast, waffles, and pancakes. Overall I was great impressed with the taste.
Easy to cook with and great taste
RiceyOriginally posted oncountrycrock.com - 4 out of 5 stars review4/29/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am reviewing this product having received a free coupon. Normally I use butter, I thought why not try out Country Crock I rememberh aging it at my Grandmas when I was little. I used it to make brownies, cookies, Garlic Bread and everyday cooking. I couldn't tell the difference from regular butter , besides being easier to spread. The taste texture and baking qualities were the same as butter. I would purchase again.
Creamy and Smooth texture.
Originally posted oncountrycrock.com - 4 out of 5 stars review4/8/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] **I received compensation/free product for my unbiased review.** As a spread on bread, crackers, etc. you can definitely taste that it's not real butter but when you add it to other things like cookies or cooking with it, you can barely tell. I'm not sure if I'd use it on a daily basis in favor of my canola oil but I do turn to it for desserts and whatnot.
Creamy, smooth goodness
khutulunOriginally posted oncountrycrock.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/22/2025I had never tried Country Crock and bought Country Crock because it was on sale, thinking it was real butter. I went a couple of days using it, and found it tasted like butter, but it was softer and spread better. I like it, and will add it to my butter rotation.
Enjoying it!
pyricOriginally posted onCountry Crock - 4 out of 5 stars review10/20/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a fan of butter spreads, I definitely prefer real butter over it. My dad loves Country Crock though and actually introduced me to it when I was little. Honestly, it has come a long way. It is creamy and melts well, though to me still tastes like a butter spread. If I had to choose out of them all though, I would choose Country Crock.
Alright
