Great sourdough flavor. Best heated up in the oven to crisp the outside a bit…if you like it that way. I cut out the middle and put a spinach dip inside, then you can eat the serving bowl! I make my own sourdough but this is an excellent alternative

This has usually been quite good, however this loaf was of very poor quality. Crust too tough and I do like crunchy crust. Bread more like consistency of stale old white bread.

Bread is rather light, but sourdough flavor is pretty strong- but not overpowering. The club's bakery items just seem to be a notch below that of their competitors, unfortunately. However, the value is there if you are not too picky.

This bread tastes like it 3 days old when you buy it. Dry and hard the next day. I sliced it thin , brushed olive oil and spices and made crackers with it. Other than that, it’s dry and stale.

I saw this on the shelves of my local Sam's and really enjoyed it. However, when I returned two weeks later to buy another, I was told that this Sam's was not carrying it anymore.

This had a good taste! I needed this just for a crumb topping for macaroni and cheese. I was going to grab one from a store but the price was really good at Sam’s. The taste was delicious!

This does not smell or taste like any sourdough bread I've ever bought. Another subpar Sam's bakery item I've wasted my money on. Why is it that all bread items taste a week old.

You can really taste the sourness in this bread and smell its aroma. It’s not dry. One of the best sourdough breads I’ve had since moving to Maryland 30 years ago.

I bought this to use in my french toast bake for the holidays. Oh my goodness--it was SO good. The freash sourdough really added to the flavor. I'd totally buy it again and probably try it with a dip or with soup.

I somehow thought only Panera could offer really good sourdough bread. I didn’t want to go to Panera, so I picked this up while I was at Sam’s. I had no expectations, but was very pleasantly surprised at how good this bread tasted.
