There was a time when I made my own Menudo but since I lost my husband I am the only one to have it, Some have told me about Juanita's in a can I said ewwwww! But I tried it and I like it so when I have a craving I buy this can. It's worth it for one person as if I was to purchase from a Mexican restaurant or Store I would be paying triple the cost, so lets hope Walmart does not UP the price any time soon

I really enjoy this menudo, heat until boiling makes the hominy more tender. It beats the king process to cook from scratch %26 more so from paying an arm %26 a leg at a restaurant that adds water when running out giving you a bowl of lukewarm watery menudo... worse thing ever! The honeycomb one is even better with chunkier pieces of tripe. I recommend.

I buy this Menudo for my Mexican mother, who grew up with and makes homemade menudo, and she loves this brand! I was honestly surprised that she loves it, as I wasn't expecting much from a can. But now every time I shop, I pick one up for her, and she gobbles it up right away. Thank you, Juanita's, for a high-quality and delicious menudo in a can. It saves her from spending an entire day cooking it herself.

i prefer this can over its hot spicy one. its robust in flavors, has ample amount of "meat" and homony. add your own spices to make it hot the counterpart to this one takes over the flavors you crave. so stick to this family favorite and add all the usual, salt, lemon, cilantro onion. make sure u get all those. also if u love manudo this might be a personal size to only 2 people can. big family? get big can and add big can of erxtra homony can for the kids if they picknout meats. cook long enough to soften homony and for them to soak up thd greatness.

My husband's Mexican family all make menudo from scratch %26 swear they'd never even try it from a can!!! Day after a family gathering, everyone came for menudo at our house.......we hid the cans!!!!! They Loved it %26 went for 2nds %26 thirds...... even my mother-in-law!!!!! Your canned menudo is a staple on our shelves!!!

This is a trusted staple in my home. When I want that Sunday restaurant favorite but can’t go there due to time I know I keep a few cans to satisfy my caseras (old home) desires ….chop fresh onion, add dried oregano a squeeze of lemon and you are well on your way to returning home….just like my mama used to make for us years ago

This was a great buy! Each can came out to $3.66! When you purchase them individually at the market they are $5.00 each!!

Juanita's menudo has been around for a very long time. If you dont know how to make menudo or don't have the time but would like a bowl of menudo. I highly recommend a hot steaming bowl of Juanita's menudo.

Not as good as homemade. The sauce lacks that red chile flavor, But good enough for canned menudo. The meat cuts could be better.

😠 WHYYYYY... why are these cans shrinking %26 the price is rising 🚩 I remember when these cans were so big you had to use two hands. There's very little flavor in it anymore, the hot or the extra hot are like drinking water 🚨 ridiculous done buying this!!!!!!!!
