Smaller than I thought but Rox squeezes in and snuggles up.

I have allergies, and 3 dogs (I know, I'm crazy) so keeping things clean is a priority in my home. The biggest downfall of these bed is although the bottom removes, the sides are filled with material (think fabric equivalent to Easter basket grass) and its loose. I just brought 4 of the beds to a laundromat for cleaning and only 2 came out usable because all the stuffing came out. Serta should consider making those bolsters covered so that stuffing can be removed as well.

He is 28 lbs long body.

The cover is not removable. I unzipped it and there was one section of foam to remove from the very bottom, but the rest of it is stuffed with piles of a synthetic hair like material that would be all over everywhere if you try to remove the cover, it is definitely not any type of solid material/cushion that can be easily removed. When this bed reaches the point it needs needs washing or needs to be thrown out it will be thrown out.
