It's basically salt, adds little additional flavor.

Just bay a box of salt and sprinkle some pepper on it. This must be at least 80% salt totally made chicken inedible. I was so excited to try a Cajun seasoning actually made in Louisiana but threw it away after one use!

This is my second order from Sam's this month, where I have received a damaged product. The point of ordering is to avoid actually having to visit a store. I see I am going to either order from someone else or visit a store.

Ive depended on this seasoning for quite some time now. I will say it is a cooking seasoning and too salty for me to just spinkle it on after cooking. I use it on my dumplings, roast, chicken, chili, if im cooking anything for adults this is going in!

I've been using this seasoning for years and I wouldn't use anything else, this has every seasoning that you normally use all-in-one! you can use it for all types of food even Seafood. I buy it in store because it's cheaper but I definitely recommend as seasoning for everyone!

I was given a small container of this seasoning and fell in love with the taste to my food. I tried Walmart in Florida and could not find it. I tried Georgia and only 1 was on the shelf. I tried Maryland and did not fine. Therefore, I decided to check the internet and there it was. I am so happy.

This review is for : Slap Ya Mama - Cajun Seasoning .. I purchased the 8 OZ size in the store. This seasoning is spicy - it adds real heat - but - without the severe bite of hot peppers. I used one pound of large pealed and deveined raw shrimp. I cut the shrimp in half - for bite size pieces. I sprinkled this seasoning onto the halved shrimp. I let the shrimp marinate for thirty minutes. I added one jar of : Slap Ya Mama - Cajun Etouffée Sauce and water to a saucepan. After it was heated and smooth, I added onions and bell peppers, when they were softened. I turned down the burner to low. I then added and cooked the marinated shrimp. I served it over Jasmine rice. It was delicious. Everyone loves it. The seasoning gives it a perfect heat - but - without the bite of hot peppers. I had to order the: Slap Ya Mama - Cajun Etouffée Sauce from the : Slap Ya Mama website - I wish Walmart would carry this product.

I put that stuff on everything.

Great taste..not too hot

I'm disappointed. The amount of salt overwhelms the rest of the spices. I don't want to throw it away so perhaps I'll try to remix a small batch by adding paprika and onion powder. I definitely won't purchase it again.
