Worth It

A sturdy unit and is everything it is advertised to be and more. You can devise several different exercises with this bench. The only complaint I would say is the butterfly mechanism could have been designed a little better but can be modified and easily optimized with a trip to the hardware store.

Had the bench delivered to the local WALMART. Very difficult to get someone to come to the counter to help bring my item out of the warehouse. Once it was loaded in the car, it was easy to get in the house and setup. It went together easy enough. I think it is a good started set for someone. Quality seems good. Adjustments are easy to make. I would recomend this for use for anyone just starting out.

Excellent Bench

Ok, first you need to take your time putting this bench set together. As has been said, do not open all the nuts and bolts until you need them or you will be sorry. VERY SORRY. FORGET THE GUY THING and read the directions for putting this together. I believe the bench was for a maximum for 100 lbs so don;t try to use more weights then recommended. If you take your time, follow the directions and know anything about using some tools then you will be just fine. I used an adjustable wrench and a ratchet set, plus a blade to open the nuts and bolts when needed. There will always be people who complain because they did not know what they were doing. The directions are a little confusing but pretty good in general. I think this is an excellent bench and will help me to get into shape. OK, with the getting into shape do not try to do too much at first or you will hurt yourself. Do stretching prior to using the wright set. I watch YOUTUBE videos to learn how to use the equipment properly. You can do the same.... I think you will be very happy with this weight bench. IS IT PERFECT - no but for the price...... ALSO, one last thing, when using your weights, PLEASE make sure the clips are on properly to hold the weights on the bench and also on the weight bar that you will buy.

over all ratings are good

Does the job what it was designed for and some. The best part is that I don't have to go to a gym very convenient sits exactly where I want it to sit.Assembly took about 45 minutes but once it's done, you would always want to use it.Good piece of equipment.

Poor design

The upright posts that hold the lifting bar are exactly where I want to put my hands. I have to pick up the bar and then move my hands/arms to the correct position, lift, then move my hands/arms out of the way to out the bar back down. The rest of the quality of the bench is great,

Just what I was looking for.

I'm not a heavy lifter, but I needed a good all-around unit that would work several muscle groups. This bench met my needs exactly. Price is good and assembly was not challenging. I had a missing part in the box, that was quickly resolved be Walmart. No problem with the spread distance on the support arms.

Great product...

Its a very good piece of equipment specially for the price with all the attachments. You can not really go wrong with it... Just be careful not to tighten the screws too tight as it will keep on tightening and might bend the metal. But its a durable and pretty sturdy...

unit is a good value, when I had time for the gym. I would use ten different machines. I can now get the same work out at home in may time. less then gym an more convent. the set up took about 1 an a half hours. could have done it faster; but had a yorkie supervisor. I would sugest leaving the nuts bolts and screws in the plastic sealed cardboard package. Just slight cut on pastic to slide out what you need with out loss of any thing. I would suggest the weight storage for weight plats not in use.

Really great starter bench

For what I paid for this product, this is really good for people who may want to get back in shape but may not want to pay $400+ for a "really good" weight bench. I get a really good workout in on this machine. The only thing I wish that it had was one of those lat pull-down bars. My husband had it up and ready to go in 30 minutes. We already bought a bar and the weights, so we were good to go...I have a baby, so going to a gym is definitely out of the question. Fits right in my bedroom.

Great product for the money

I love my weight bench. I did not have any trouble putting it together. It is heavy enough and sturdy enough for what I need it for. I wasn't looking for an exercise machine. I wanted a weight bench that I could take the weight off and move it around (if needed). I have a huge exercise machine in the garage that is never used. This one is heavy enough to hold the weights that I will use and is fine on the butterfly extensions. My butterfly extensions aren't wobbly and useless as some have described. Even if they were not as tight as I wanted them to be, I could always grab a washer at the hardware store to tighten the connection. I love it! It suits my needs.
