Bought this to replace an aging DP weight bench that was falling apart on me. The Marcy bench looks and feels much better than the other, and is very sturdy. The butterfly attachments are an improvement over the ones on the other bench as well. Thumbs up.

This is a great bench for the price. I mainly bought it for the leg developer, which works great for me. The preacher curl works great too. I don't use the butterfly, instead I just use dumbbells, and so I can't say much about that part. I also only bench with dumbbells and so I can't say how well the bench works with a barbell. The bench is very sturdy, especially for the price. This was a great buy and I'm very pleased.

Solid bench well made after I assembled it. (4 hours) I am disabled and 68. Great for young people. I am five feet nine and I have to push myself to the lower end of the bench fore my head to rest on padded bench. Nevertheless bench presses are comfortable. One taller can still utilize it. The preacher curl apparatus is great because of the adjustable curl pad. The peck deck is usable if that is your concern.

Had the bench delivered to the local WALMART. Very difficult to get someone to come to the counter to help bring my item out of the warehouse. Once it was loaded in the car, it was easy to get in the house and setup. It went together easy enough. I think it is a good started set for someone. Quality seems good. Adjustments are easy to make. I would recomend this for use for anyone just starting out.

I was very satisfied with product I received. It was very easy to put together, I was missing a piece in the box (screw), but was not a big deal. With the butterfly attachment my arms are too long for the handles, (I am 6'2, 230 pounds). However, overall this product is great for basic use, and good product for the value.

I hesitated to buy this since it was considerably lower in price than others I looked at but it is more than I expected. Butterfly is a little wobbly but I usually use free weights for that exercise anyways and it makes a great place for your excess weights. Easy to assemble ---- just cut a slit in the blister packed bolts,nuts and washers and use as needed. Per the instructions the necessary bolts, nuts, washers are identified by size and number on the blister pack. It took only an hour and twenty minutes including opening the box, unwrapping all the pieces, and watching a movie, to fully assemble. This is a great buy for the money.

The bench is a great starter set. The butterfly portion is a little awkward to me, but that could just be me. Putting together the set was easy. The only problem I had was, the parts were missing 2 brackets. The brackets were outside brackets that appeared to be non-essential, however, I would check the box before purchase if possible.

before i bought this product, i compared the price with target and kmart. target it was 139.00 and kmart it was 149.00 and here it was $97.00 its a great value!! it took me about 20min to build the bench by my self, all i had to do was fallow the instruction as is, and it was simple to build!

A sturdy unit and is everything it is advertised to be and more. You can devise several different exercises with this bench. The only complaint I would say is the butterfly mechanism could have been designed a little better but can be modified and easily optimized with a trip to the hardware store.

Everything is fine with this bench except for the bar stand. they are not far enough apart. we had to make modifications. The place where the bar sits on the bar stand is right where you want to put your hands. so the whole bench needs to be about 5 to 6 inches wider.
