wrong parts

I bought this weight bench for my husband & son. As they were assembling it they realized that they were issued 2 of the same part which made it impossible to put together. My husband called the mfg. They said the part is on backorder. It has been several weeks & we have yet to receive the correct part. Wonder if it'll ever arrive!

Expand des bolts

Was able to put it together pretty Quick. about 4 hours including clean up. The left butterfly every so often seems to have a life of it's own. So I switched it with the other left butter fly (Right one LOL) same problem. It would also be nice if the had a lat bar you could order. Bolts in butter fly handles could be a wee bit larger. It comes apart quick. I moved it from one room to another while watching/ listening to an episodes of 3 stooges. It is pretty durable. Just that left butterfly handle and longer bolts

Great for an Average Lifter

In my younger days I would have been looking for much more. Now this is great for me. Go to a hardware store and buy Grade 8 bolts for the butterfly if you are seriously going to do the excersize, and I recommend lock tight on the bolts you want to stay tightened. Some bigger guys might not be comfortable on this bench but for the average size guy it's fine. I am very happy with the bench and I am happy with the durability and quality of the product. I don't use the curl bar attachment because I like the range of motion of my free weight curl bar but the preacher pad works great with the free weight. Other than that, I think this was a great buy for under $100.

Acceptable for Low to Moderate training

I was looking to replace a cheap bench that I outgrew. For as cheap as my first one was, $95 was pricier than I expected. I press 125 and leg curl 50 right now and the bench does not wobble. I did not use the preacher curl before, so after trying it out I was simply able to remove it but can use in the future if I wanted to. The handlebars to use with the leg curl were a bonus, I love. The butterfly arms were unacceptable, did not work. I replaced the arms with ones from my old machine, so it is sufficient for what I need. The barbell arms are wider than I was used to so I had to move my hand position, no big deal.

Its ok

This bench was easy to put together and does have a good look to it. The bench however does wobble a bit and sometimes is a little sketchy when you bench. The fly arms are a joke and do not work. The arms that hold the bench are too close and make it where you have to have a really wide grip on the bar.

Best for a kid

This is sized for a young kid, perhaps 5 ft. tall. I'm only 5'5", and it's too small for me. The verticals are only 31-in. apart, so for the bench I have to assume a grip that is either too wide or too narrow. In addition, the preacher curl position is good but the pad is too thin, so it hurts. Talk about a coincidence! I received an email 5 minutes ago asking me to rate this and as it turns out I just boxed this back up today. It's going back to the store tomorrow! (I used ship-to-store) in favor of the Weider 340L. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for something good. By the way, this is rated at 600 lbs. Before you try that, make sure your life insurance premium has been paid. I was nervous with 200 lb on it.

Very disappointed

Cannot use incline bench press because unit is way too small and barbell rest is way too low. Fly attachments are an absolute joke plus they also get in the way of bench pressing. Padding is inferior. Definitely a child size piece of "equipment." I wish I could get my money back.

Good , or Better

It was easy to assemble, instructions & bolt lay-out was good, The bench itself seems heavy duty & Sturdy with the weights on it. The pad for the curls really needs to be wider, it is to narrow for me. the adjustment / hold in bolt for the curl stand should be a quick release pin, would make taking it on & off more convenient. Another option & would recommend is to have a straight set of butterfly handles that could be swapped for the swivel ones. these are changes that I am making for mine Tom V.

Do not buy online, I do not recommend.

I bought this online believing it was brand new but when the package was delivered, I opened it and I realized it was used before it had huge scratches on it, they where not minor. And I also noticed that it had marks from the screws being screwed on from the previous owner. When I buy online I expect it to be brand new and not a return item and that is the reason I do not recommend this item.

good product for the price

This weight bench is made for a small person but it`s perfect for a decent workout..my only complaint is the seat and back could be a little sturdier, I also purchased a bar and weights with my order I am 5ft 3in and this bench is just right for me and it doesn`t take up a lot of space
