I bought a bag in December and didn't check the expiration date that turned out to be Oct 2024. I didn't get to open them till Mar 2025. They were rancid. the Last bag I bought the Christmas before was the very same rancid problem but still in date. Between miracle whip and walnuts being out of date or extremely close to date REGULARLY, I will no longer buy them at sam's nor wal-mart. Winco here I come, regardless of price as I will still come out ahead of having to throw them out. 1 time shame on you. 2 times shame on me. I'm a slow learner.

I was disappointed. Some of the kernel had a strong, almost rancid flavor.

Bought two bags. Both arrived growing mold.

I have purchased these before but this bag has some bad tasting ones and some are black like moldy and some are texture of cardboard.

I have gotten these walnuts for years at Sam's I eat as snack all the time and bake with them I haven't had a problem but I keep in freezer

Ordered 2 bags and they are filled with pulverized walnuts. Looking for ideas to use it up as “flour”. Thankful that I didn’t order more.

Fresh and good tasting at a great price, which just adds to the list of benefits of walnuts. They are a great substitute for chips when the carb cravings hit.

Nice having a larger pack for Christmas baking. They get ground up for what we do. Be careful though. For the first time we found about 10 pieces of shell as we ate the desserts.

A fantastic buy for the price. With the way the prices today are at grocery stores this is a fantastic find for the price and the amount you get. If you like walnuts this is for you for your baking or snacks

The smell was so bad and there were a lot of completely black and non eatable walnuts inside the bag so I threw away 1/3 of the bag. It was waste of money
