Bought these to put in my instant oatmeal. They are a good, healthy snack as well. I put them in smaller bags and freeze them for later. They keep well.

These walnuts are good. They taste fresh. I am sure they would be perfect in a recipe, but right now I am eating them right out of the bag.

Great fresh walnuts. Great deal. In a short time as a Sam’s member, I’ve learned that the Members Mark brand can be trusted. You are getting quality at a terrific price. These nuts are amazing if you gently toast/bake/airfry.

What can I say, it was time to replenish my stach of walnuts with a fresh bag of walnuts without having to cracking a single one. Fresh tasting and I will buy again when I polish this bag off.

I have to explain about this review before I begin explaining the problem I have with this particular bag of walnuts. I buy multiple bags of Members Mark nuts; pecans, almonds and walnuts several time every year and have never had an issue. I bake a lot in December so I bought the walnuts and used about 1/2 bag without an issue. Today I needed 2 cups of walnuts and found that the second half of the bag was full of walnut skins. Horrible! I had to wash the walnut pieces before using them to get rid of the skins.

We have been buying walnuts from Sam's for years!!! Purchase at least 3 bags EVERY time we visit the store. They obviously changed their supplier when they changed their packaging. Quality control is lacking at this point and really needs to be addressed. Nut quality is fresh, taste is okay...maybe less than what we were accustomed to in the past. Biggest change we saw was the amount of "settlement" left in the bag. Always had it, but this is ridiculous!!! Had to use a slotted spoon to get the smaller pieces. So... they are walnuts... just be prepared to deal with it!

I purchased the Member's Mark 3lb bag of walnuts on July 4, 2025. The bag had a Best If Used By date of Feb 11, 2026. When I got home and opened the bag I could immediately smell that the nuts were rancid. I called Sam's website and was told that I could return the item to the store and get credit on my payment method or they could issue a store credit that I could use on another order. I purchased in store using Scan and Go but was unable to return due to a worsening illness so I opted for the store credit and discarded the bag of nuts. Two weeks have passed, no credit was issued and now I have no product to return. I should have just waited until I was well enough to return them in person. I think it's interesting that in my purchase history, that there is an option to initiate a return on any purchase EXCEPT Scan and Go.

I have purchased the Members Mark walnuts for years and have always found them delicious and a great quality. However, I will be returning these to Sam's. As you can see from the photo below, these are horrible!! They taste old, have some almost black in the bag and contain a lot of dust (apparently) in the bag. Taste was horrible.

Please know that I have always loved walnuts. I grew up eating them from a tree in our yard. These I purchased had a horrible flavor. I returned them. Sorry, but these are not up to Sam’s standards.

OMG, how could this even happen, SIX years old walnuts were shipped out? Where is quality control? Then a huge hassle with chat bots %26 phone waits to finally get a refund......Unacceptable !!!!!!
