I have been buying the 3 pound bag of walnuts for several years. In the last year or so I have been getting a lot of trash in the bags. When I add these to my cereal in the morning all the trash floats up on top of the milk. It has gotten so bad that I take the hag out to the patio fan and sprinkle the walnuts into a container and let the fan blow the trash out before I store them in an air tight container. There used to be very little trash in the bags, but something has change in the packaging process. Dropping the nuts through an air stream removes all the light trash that is in the bags

There is too many bad nut in the package

I buy these and other nuts in larger packages and them mix them all together in smaller batches for a healthier go to snack. These are the best value I can find anywhere and they are always delicious!
