We got this in May of 2020. My husband and son (12 yrs) put it together over a couple of days. We have 4 kids and they love how much there is to do and that the more enclosed top feels like a clubhouse. There were a few cracked boards, but nothing so bad that we needed to get replacements. It’s very sturdy and we love the stairs. It makes it easier for the younger kids to get up.

I am giving this five stars based on how the set met my expectations for the price I paid. My husband and I assembled this working most of a Saturday and a couple of hours three days over the next week. A large portion of our time was spent checking the supply list and sorting by letters. I recommend spending the time to do this. We were able to go right to whatever we needed. The instructions are pretty good...if you have experience in assembling things in the past. If this is your first go round, you may find it slightly more difficult and find yourself having to redo some parts as you go. Maybe not, just my opinion. I actually enjoy these types of projects...like a puzzle. We order this so our older child could enjoy the set with our younger. She is almost 11 and he is almost 6. They have loved it since day one. They use it almost daily. I love the safety of the stairs. The hammock is a big hit with both kiddos, but only one at a time should use it. Now. Is this a set that will last for 20 years with everyday rough play? Nope. Did we have some pieces nick and split as we were assembling? Yep! But nothing that would be noticeable or cause concern about safety. It is solid. The anchors are a pain, but worth the trouble. It is not as solid as the sets that are $5000 and up, but it certainly meets our needs and we are very happy with the quality for the price we paid. I would recommend to a friend and I would buy again.

Bought this set for my 5 year old daughter. Overall it's a decent set with some things left to be desired. First the "platform" board are a little thin or not supported well enough. For her size and weight it's not an issue but as a 200 pounds adult that had to walk on the platform to complete assembly I was scared I'd fall through the platform. Wish it wasn't Chinese cedar but I suppose for the cost savings it's ok.

We have 7 children, who inevitably will want to all be playing on the swing set at the same time, so it was important to us for our swing set to have a variety of fun features and be one that the kids could still play on as they grew. Just looking at the Oceanview Wooden Swing Set, I feel like all of my dreams have been answered. For me, the wooden swing set was much classier and better looking. And while each of my children have a favorite part of the swing set, mine would have to be the clubhouse on top. Actually I may have told my children a time or two that the clubhouse is mommy’s, ha! We purchased Backyard Discovery Oceanview through Sams Club. This shipping was on the slower side, but to be expected as we live in a remote area and it’s hard to coordinate freight shipments. It arrived in 3 large boxes on a pallet and the slide wrapped in plastic wrap. All items intact without a scratch. For an honest review, be prepared to take a dedicated weekend putting it together. My husband sorted all the pieces on a Thursday evening, put together the monkey bars and swings on Friday evening, then the center portion (stairs, house, slide, etc.) on Saturday and finishing touches on Sunday. Recommend calling in reinforcement because you’ll need help holding and mounting the sections together. If I’m being honest, it may have taken a little longer than average thank to our Goldendoodle running off with a piece or two throughout the process. Aside from time, it was well labeled and fairly simple to put together. We purchased the Oceanview because it has actual steps. It is great size for a toddler, yet large enough to keep for years to grow into as well. This product is well made and very sturdy. Worth every penny in my opinion. My 2 year old agrees! He has played on it everyday since putting it together.

I purchased this particular play set because I wanted stairs for my 3 year old. I’m happy I did because my daughter absolutely loves it. After day one she actually went up the ladder by herself. Very sturdy set. It took 3 inexperienced adults approximately 12 hours over the course of two days. I highly recommend using the app BILT is has step by step video directions which helped tremendously. Overall 5 stars.

We bought this a while ago and finally got it built. I am a little disappointed in the size of it, it is definitely for only small children. The size of the boards are so small, it does not seem like it will be very sturdy! The slide has 3 big scratches on it when we got it out of the box/bag! For the cost it is a little disappointing! I have photos on my phone of the scratches.

We bought this for our grandson’s 2nd birthday. He is the hit of the neighborhood! His 6 year old next door neighbor can’t wait for him to come home every day so she can swing and slide! Very easy instructions (yes there were 76 steps from start to finish) but they were excellently explained with pictures to help with all the hardware and numbers on the wood. We will most definitely buy another one for any other future grandkids!

We purchased and built this set last summer (2021) for our grandson. He loves it and so do his friends. High quality and while building it took time (2 days, 2 people), watching the video was helpful. We have named the park and are pleased with how it looks in the yard.

This set is perfect in every way! We purchased this set with the option for the assembly service- best choice ever made. The process for scheduling delivery and assembly was smooth. The features on the set allow the kids to grow into it. They used the steps immediately while they mastered the ladder. We enclosed the clubhouse on the bar side by using a baby gate. This allows the kids to safely run, play and have fun in the clubhouse. The clubhouse is perfect for building blocks or playing with friends. The swing side and the wave slide make for hours of fun and when they need a break they sit on the hammock for a story, snack or just to relax in the shade. We have used this set everyday for months and the kids continue to create new ways to make this set fun! Even the dog likes to sit in the clubhouse with them!
