I bought this for the staircase, wooden roof, and one-piece slide. I was able to construct this by myself with a corded drill, 6 ft ladder, and a rubber mallet. I chose to painstakingly stain each piece of wood with weather sealant stain since it came with a “naked” wood tone. I figured it would be best to do the staining before assembly to get every piece covered. The playscape comes with easy to read instructions and a free 3-d app to assist with further details. All wood pieces come predrilled and stamped. The hardware is also labeled in individual bags. Construction was tedious but actually kind of fun. The upper fort and swings can handle my male adult weight although the company obviously recommends nowhere near that weight for use. My 2yo daughter and her friends love it! Shipping was fast and easy as well.

We bought this for our 5 and 2 year old. Love how the stairs are perfect and safe for our 2 year old yet there are things for the 5 year old as well. Some he will grow into like the monkey bars. So happy with our purchase. It is hard to get our kids to come in from playing.

Overall I've had a good experience building this swing set. Every piece and hardware bag is labeled and the BILT app makes the building process much easier. I've had to adjust a few pieces of wood because they would not fit exactly as expected. Also one piece of wood came to me split and the company replaced it quickly at no charge.

One of the features we loved most about this swing set prior to buying was the set of stairs. I love the fact that the swing set has limited openings so there is less likely a chance of my dare devil 2 year old from falling out of it. All 3 of my boys are enjoying this just after a week and a half of having it assembled. Disclaimer that the infant swing is not from backyard discovery we used one that we had prior to purchasing the swing set. It took my fiancé and I roughly 3 days to assemble this but at times it was only one person working on it and it was never full days (usually 4-5 hours if that per day).

Our daughter is absolutely LOVING her new Swing Set! The main reason why we purchased this one was because of the stairs. It's so great for the littles! We are not disappointed at all! I will say, it took my husband quite some time to build but it wasn't that bad! He got it done and it's perfect!

My 5 year old daughter loves this swingset, it's got everything she needs! We paid for assembly and I'm so glad we did, it took them about 8 hours so it probably would have taken us twice that. The slide was scratched up pretty badly from delivery. I called to let them know, sent in pictures of the damage and they sent out a new slide, no questions asked.

Great value and lots of fun for the little ones. Although it takes forever to set up due to a few things. The three boxes don't seem to have any rhyme or reason to how they're packaged, so there's constant searching for parts (more time spent than actually assembly). The second main reason is that you are constantly switching bolt types and bits. Be sure to have 2 to 3 drills on the ready so you don't have to swap every other step (not exaggerating). Now that it's all said and done, it looks very nice and was still worth the blood, sweat and tears.

We LOVE this playground but we were missing a pack of screws that were critical towards the end of set up. Also the directions didn’t always tell you the direction of the board, which would have prevented drilling later. Our kids play on it daily so we are very satisfied!

Spent over 1k on the set and was disappointed in the sturdiness of the structure. The stair railing wobbles when my 3 year old climbs the stairs... When she or my 18 month old jumps on the deck you hear crackling noises (expected from a larger child... But an 18 month old?). The wood is mainly thin.. Not even 2x4s. The slide is nice, but i dont think it is going to last.
