Great little carpet cleaner! I’ve owned a different portable carpet cleaner and this one is so much better.

I have used this item three times on our upstairs carpet and find it to clean the pet stains in an outstanding manner. It is also very easy to clean and use.

I am unhappy with Hoover. This is the 2nd Hoover carpet cleaner I have purchased. Both of them have the same issue, leaking from the bottom. I have had the Smartwash steam cleaner for a while and noticed that every time I used it, there would be a puddle of water on the floor. After research, I found that this is a common problem. I bought the CleanSlate machine last week and went to use it today and found that it also leaks. I hate that things nowadays are cheaply made and don't hold up but cost so much more.

Just got this little spot cleaner. Shipping to my door was lightening FAST. Unpacking was simple, assemble (as little as it required) was a breeze. Clear instructions and easy to use. I was cleaning spots within a few minutes of set up. It would take a bit of work to clean an entire carpet but it does a great job on smaller jobs as intended. Brilliant idea on the hose cleaner tool! Be sure to put water in the solution tank to perform this function and put a container down or a towel to catch the drips from the hose when done. Really did a great job cleaning. The upholstery and carpet are damp afterward but I felt the extraction was as good as it gets. I have hardwoods so I felt under the carpet and there was no wetness below so I wasn't worried it would damage my floors. Clean up so so easy and I loved that the wide tool comes apart for thorough cleaning. Cannot attest to how long it will last since I used this right out of the box, but I give it 5 stars for ease of use, price and performance. They could have included a space to store the auxiliary tool but perhaps I missed that. Not a big deal though. Thanks for manufacturing such a nice little machine at a good price.

Worth it! I've already used the Hoover Cleanslate Carpet & Upholstery Spot Cleaner multiple times since purchasing it (my husband regularly spills coffee on the carpet...). This cleaner has made a huge difference. Bought it to work on carpet spots and seems to work fine with a bit of elbow grease.

Really good as a spot remover. Does struggle to take care of larger areas.

Trigger does not shut off water spray.

It wasn't working so I return it

Easy to use and powerful. Fast dry time since it sucks up water.
