good product, but I have not used another to compare. A learning curve. I do not put my accounts out there, so I do manual updates. A little cumbersome at yr end. My wife prefers microsoft money but it has not been around for years, this is her 2nd choice.

Software has improved over the years, but I hate, hate, hate the yearly subscription model. I miss the times when you just bought the software; the yearly subscription model just feels like a money grab. I only use it because, for now, I can't seem to find better options. The cloud sync is a nice feature though, giving me quick control of my finances when I don't want to fire up my Windows machine.

This product key must be entered in the desktop software by going to the help tab/manage your subscription/then-enter the code The instructions in the box tell you to go to Quicken.com and there is no way to enter activation code there. They want to sell you a renewal for more money. Good luck. I did not know this so I purchased online. I'll buy from Walmart next year.

Its report features have made it essential element of daily money management and yearly tax planning for me. I've never been totally happy about the transition from owned software to an annual subscription program, but this year's Walmart discount deal sure made it less painful.

Qkn Dlx key card (activation code) provided on card in small box. Easier and quicker if they would just provide it electronically somehow. But this worked to extend my current subscription by 1 year, adding it to my remaining month so no time was lost. I just used the Quicken Dlx application on my laptop, looked under Help menu to find Manage Your Subscriptions, then Enter Activation Code. Reason for 1 star off is the annual subscription process is not a great value and to save some $$ I have to find the product at a better than 'retail' price and take extra steps to order it, wait for it, activate it.

The product makes asset and liability information readily available and provides a competent overview of revenue and expenditures. It facilitates keeping abreast of finances, makes tax return preparation a breeze.

I used to get it it for a few years for the price I am now paying each year. I would go elsewhere for this reason but for the sake of ease and familiarity keep buying yearly subscriptions

I hate that Quicken went to the subscription service a few years ago, I bought the new software any way but this just makes it cost more every year. With that, I rely on Quicken and think it's worth spending the money. I can see all of our accounts and know when I can and went shouldn't spend money. It works.

I have been using Quicken since it first came out around 35 years ago. There have been many improvements in the software over those years, all making it easier to use Quicken. My one complaint was when Quicken went from being able to purchase the disk and access stock quotes for three years to going to an annual subscription at a significant annual cost. However, I have found that purchasing the annual subscription from Walmart comes at a significant price saving.
