Although I had initially anticipated that the product would have been a download with the Product Key being sent to me via email, it was in fact a download with the Product Key sent to me via a delivery service. My Quicken subscription was to expire soon, so I purchased this to update my subscription. I would advise that to update an existing account that you contact Quicken to get their advice on how to proceed.

Love Quicken and its strong features but hate their new system forcing yearly subscriptions that are ever increasing in price. Fortunately, I was able to use the activation code from this product (Quicken Classic Deluxe) to update my subscription for a year about half the cost (about $37 vs. $60 ).

This product key must be entered in the desktop software by going to the help tab/manage your subscription/then-enter the code The instructions in the box tell you to go to Quicken.com and there is no way to enter activation code there. They want to sell you a renewal for more money. Good luck. I did not know this so I purchased online. I'll buy from Walmart next year.

It facilitates keeping abreast of finances, makes tax return preparation a breeze.

Its report features have made it essential element of daily money management and yearly tax planning for me. I've never been totally happy about the transition from owned software to an annual subscription program, but this year's Walmart discount deal sure made it less painful.

I used to get it it for a few years for the price I am now paying each year. I would go elsewhere for this reason but for the sake of ease and familiarity keep buying yearly subscriptions

For over twenty years Quicken has been my choice of household accounting software. I love that I can search back through two decades to find entries for items I've purchased. The last few years I've been very mindful to mark income tax items, which has made filing much easier. Having Quicken on my cell phone and tablet make using the software a breeze when I'm out of town, as they sync to my desktop version as soon as I power up my computer. Quicken is user friendly, relatively inexpensive and reliable. The ability to adjust columns, sort and search are very helpful. Tracking my stocks has made investing simpler as well. I will continue to use Quicken as long as it's available and I'm still upright.

I hate that Quicken went to the subscription service a few years ago, I bought the new software any way but this just makes it cost more every year. With that, I rely on Quicken and think it's worth spending the money. I can see all of our accounts and know when I can and went shouldn't spend money. It works.

Qkn Dlx key card (activation code) provided on card in small box. Easier and quicker if they would just provide it electronically somehow. But this worked to extend my current subscription by 1 year, adding it to my remaining month so no time was lost. I just used the Quicken Dlx application on my laptop, looked under Help menu to find Manage Your Subscriptions, then Enter Activation Code. Reason for 1 star off is the annual subscription process is not a great value and to save some $$ I have to find the product at a better than 'retail' price and take extra steps to order it, wait for it, activate it.
