I would have to say that this is the second Champion product that I have purchased and I couldn't be happier. The first was generator and now a winch for my four wheeler. The reason for the winch was strictly for plowing purposes but WOW. This thing sure comes in handy when it comes to pulling deer out of a hard to drag spot. With the amount of cable that this product comes with, it is a must in the deer woods. I would definitely stick with Champion for the power equipment tools no doubt.

First purchased the 3000 lb winch in 2008 for my UTV and was very pleased with the performance. Recently purchased the same Champion winch for my new UTV. The installation was a little more complicated on the new UTV and had to splice additional wire to locate the remote where I wanted but all in all the new winch is good to go. I was very happy with my first one that it was a no brainer to purchase the exact same Champion winch again......the 3000 lb model. I would recommend this winch and Champion products.

I purchased and used the 3000 lb Wench Kit to move a Tri Pacer airplane from WI to our new home. It was quick and easy to install. My wife and I were able to pull the plane up into a 24 foot enclosed car trailer with no trouble from the wench. You never really know what is inside one of those car trailers! I am sure I will be using the wench for other projects in the future. Thank you Champion for making this available at a reasonable cost.

Installed on YXZ using a Houser mount. Super easy install. Still need to finish up wires - fixing some previous owner installed birds nest. Did replace clunky handlebar mounted switch with solenoid and dash mount rocker switch. This winch looks to be well made - we will see. Recommended.

Installed on a YXZ internal mount. Replaced the switch with regular contactor, definitely a needed improvement. Finally needed to use the winch. Stuck in about 48" thick mud pit. High centered and fully stuck. Needed to pull about 15 yards to hard ground. Was a struggle but did it without issue. Steel cable will need to be replaced with synthetic line due to damage while spooling. Being an internal mount a level wind would be nice.

I mounted this to shelf brackets and strapped it to a tree - successfully pulled out my fishing boat and paddle boat. Next step is to try the pontoon lift. Simple, straightforward operation, but lost a star because the button operation required full, direct pressure for constant operation. Seems like it will get the job done for bigger loads.

I just recently installed this winch kit on a Honda Rubicon ATV. The install was excellent but I could have used more length in the leads to the battery on the ATV as it is located in the rear of the machine and I didn't have hardly any excess length which would have been helpful in routing the wiring. Besides that, the winch seems very quality and the clutch mechanism engages smoothly and solidly.

Compact and solidly built, this winch is a great value. I bought mine for my Pioneer 700-4 to use as a dock extractor from our lake in the fall. Easy to install, wire and operate. Components seem to be very well made. This product appears to be able to withstand the test of time. For my UTV, I needed a separate winch mount and this winch lined up perfectly with that. Happy, happy.

I bought this Winch to mount to my 2004 HONDA Foreman 450fe ATV. I purchased a mounting plate made specifically for my Honda rather than using the provided plate. The winch, Fair lead, and all hardware fit the plate perfectly, and the plate with all hardware mounted perfectly to my ATV. The wired remote control mounted very easily, and looks great. The winch works very well, has plenty of power, and is quiet. I would recommend this winch to anyone wanting a quality, easy to install product.

I needed something small and dependable, and this delivered. I don't do a lot of crazy off-roading in a SxS with my wife and kids, but I wanted to be able we could get ourselves out of a bind if we fell into one. This fella does a great job and\ is plenty powerful to pull my Mule. The only downside was that the wire harness was about 1-2' short to reach my battery, so I had to run to the hardware store and make a longer one. Should be plenty of line in most Honda's and Polaris's, but a little short on my Kawasaki.
