Winch works fine but the big selonoid/remote switch fails quickly. Arctic Cat ATV winch is almost 20 years old with no problems. The switch/selonoid is big, awkward and started to fail after two years. Fix the remote switch mess and you've got a good product. Can't order a rerplacement on the website!

This is the second winch I purchased for my second UTV. I bought my first winch 4 years ago and it is still going strong. So, when I needed a second one for my other UTV, I knew what to buy. This winch is very inexpensive, but the quality is very good. I definitely would buy again and would also recommend this winch to anyone. I will look at some of their other products in the future.

Mounted on an ATV to replace my broken winch. This Champion 3000lb winch is replacing a model 2300 winch from a different manufacturer. It's primary use will be lifting and lowering my snowplow. I used the existing wiring left over from the other winch. Only reason for 4 stars is the instructions should have included HOW to change the orientation of the electrical connections, not just mentioning that you CAN if needed. Only used it a short time after installation, so far so good.

I installed this winch on my Arctic Cat 700 ATV. It was very easy to install following the detailed instructions! It works great...pulled me out of a couple holes that I could not get out of with no problems! Also used it to pull out some long logs that we felled on our 80 acre property in the Lake of Bays area!

I put a 2000 lb Champion winch on my wife's wheeler years ago & it's still going strong. She primarily uses it for lifting her snow plow. It was time to put one on mine so of course I went with champion, only I got the 3000. It was easy to install & works perfectly so far.

Great winch for the money. Very well built and solid. The leads from the driver seat in my Yamaha Viking to the winch were to short. I had to add a section of wire, not to happy about that. The spooling feature works very well. Almost to well. Mine quickly spilled out on the ground. This presents a problem. How to I run the very large and heavy duty switch and keep tension on the cable at the same time.You need two people to run this winch. Champion needs a wireless remote option.

I bought this winch as a replacement for the winch on my SXS. The OEM unit froze up and this Champion 3000# model bolted right up to where I removed the junked out unit. I like how easily the cable pulls out. I hope I never need it, but I'm confident it will perform as good as the other Champion power products I own.

I bought this product to install on a side by side that I am fixing up as a plow UTV. It was built well, installed easily and the unit was approved by two friends who own the much more expensive competitors winch. I don't have much use time on it yet but I am guessing it will serve me as well as my other Champion products. Thanks yet again!

Highly recommended if you are on a budget. I purchased this unit and installed it on our UTV. I had to extend the power cables a few feet to accommodate. Otherwise this was a straight forward and simple install. Hardest part was drilling the holes. Some reviews mention they don't like the bulky button box- I like it. It feels well built as do the switches. I added the neoprene cover to protect the unit as well.

I use this to pull a truck bed liner filled with brush out of the woods. It was easy to set up and works great. My only complaint is that it is too easy to build up cable on one side of the spindle and have it jam. The cage should be a bit bigger to prevent this from happening
