I put this Champion 3000 lbs Winch on my 2019 Yamaha Wolverine X2...easiest winch install I have ever done, just 4 wires. Has direct power with a wired remote I ran into the glove box, keeps the remote clean and fast access when needed. Great job Champion!

Turned my zero turn stander into a snow plow. This winch was very easy to set up and handles my 60" plow with no problems at all. Lowers and raises my plow at just the right speed. The switch buttons are nice and large and one can have a thick winter glove on and still use them, but you must push in the very center of the button for it to function.

I bought the Mini-Rocker switch kit ‎C18014 to go with the 3,000lb winch. The control unit included with the winch seems ridiculous and a pain to use. The rocker switch is the way to go if using on an ATV. Battery leads from the contactor to the winch were about a foot short. The rocker switch has little symbols of the winch spooling out/in, which makes it impossible to tell what's IN and OUT without a magnifying glass, I don't know why they couldn't have used "IN" and "OUT" like every other product out there. Trickiest part of install is finding a spot for the contactor/relay unit to live. With it all said and done, I am pleased with this winch kit for the price. It should hopefully do well for a long time lifting and lowering the snow plow and doing occasional pulling. Installed on a 2007 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 ATV

I just bought and installed the Champion 3000 lb winch kit on my 2009 Polaris sportsman to use with my snow plow, and I couldn't be happier. The kit included everything that I needed to install the winch into position and wire it up electrically. we were just hit wilt a snow storm and it worked as expected.

I just got this mounted in my 2024 Honda Rubicon atv. It was a bit of a chore but I think that is more on the atv than the winch. It is working as it should. I did elect to go for a different toggle with a separate contactor box as I wasn't real happy with the giant control box that came with it. It runs in and out smoothly. It is a little loud but I have nothing else to compare it to so that might be normal. Overall for the price I am happy with my purchase.

I use this to list my deer stand up using a pully and hook in the tree selected I also use it for any pulling if my UTV gets stuck or my zero turn mower gets stuck. I am a handicapped person and this helps me lift and pull things I would otherwise have to get help doing from other people which is not always easy living out in a very rural area. Making a deer stand to lift me up around 18 ft. and have figured out how to make ratchet locks so it can't drop or let me fall on the way up or down and may use this wench to power it will be testing it with weights before trying it on myself.

Great Winch for the money. The first thing I noticed in comparison to my over priced Milemarker winch is the selector switch is metal as compared to Milemarkers cheap plastic. I believe this is their first model that uses three stage planetary gears, so for the money is much better than a single planetary. The only serious downfall is that many vendors chose to ship winch in its original box! Heavy Winch ends breaking through box. Time will tell how it holds up.

We put this 3000# winch on the front of our new four wheeler. we have only had competing brand winches prior to this champion. we purchased the champion brand due to its lower cost to give it a try. Seems to have plenty of power we hooked the hook on a truck and it pulled the four wheeler, with the brakes locked up, across our gravel drive. However the unit is very loud, and the engagement lock is not that easy to get to catch. the supplied switch is like most, way to bulky to be nicely mounted on the four wheeler. if you want it nice, buy a relay and a different rocker switch (its worth the extra money and time during installation to make it look nice).

Great design for this winch. The flat pancake brushes and armature on the end of the motor make it real easy to rotate the wiring by 90 degrees. I have a 2013 Can Am and it bolted directly into the machine perfectly, and since it is a G2 two seater it is a bit longer than most but the wires were plenty long to make the connections. I really like the solid feel of the control head which is mounted on the handle bar, it is solid and holds fairly snug and the buttons are solid feeling also. I think it is a nice winch for the money.

I would recommend this product for the excellent value & ease of installation. This worked perfectly for the rear mount application on our Can Am side by side! The 3000lb. rating provides confidence in the ability perform self-recovery should we get into a situation. Solid product for price range!
