I bought this to replace a winch on my 4wheeler that I use for a snowplow. Overall it is great product at a great price. It is more powerful, smoother and quiet than the winch I replaced. I also really like the clutch control, very easy to grip. The hardware that came with it worked well and installed easily. Only knock I have was the size of the remote, just seems a little oversized.

I attaced this winch for my atv. I have a Toy shortened so I winch it up into the bed of my truck. I leave the cable attached and it keeps the atv from moving around. It works great, quality equipment from Champion as I also have their generator! #ChampionPowerEquipment, #sweepstakes

I have installed this 3,000 lb winch in my Kubota 900 RTV. It fits perfectly with no modifications to the front of the Kubota. I found the mounting instructions were lacking in describing the best way to mount the winch to it's plate and mounting the complete assembly to the plate in the Kubota. You should not mount one plate on top of bolt heads of the other plate. I drilled the Kubota mounting plate so the bolts that go into the winch also go through both plates and both plates are sandwiched together as one unit. I installed a rocker switch in the cab and used inexpensive wireless units to operate a contactor. The pushbuttons supplied by Champion should be a delete option. I ended up using the wires and ring connectors from the pushbutton assembly to finish the wiring from the contactor to the winch. Works great and looks like an OEM option to the Kubota.

I replaced a warn winch which literally fell apart. The Champion winch bolted up to the current mount without any alterations. I use the winch on my ATV to plow snow. It's much quieter than the previous winch. I recommend this winch as it costs much less than the competition's model and does just as good of a job. I would buy again.

Installed it on my four wheeler as a back up in case I needed it for emergency use. have not had a chance to use it yet for an actual test. just tested it buy pulling it to my truck. attached a video of it in use and the sound seems a little noisy is the reason for the 4 stars otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got done installing the 3000lb winch on my polaris 550 4wheeler. Installing it was straight forward and easy. I did have to purchase a bracket to mount the winch to my polaris. Has plenty of pulling power for my needs.

I bought this 3000lb winch a few days ago. Very simple and easy to install and works great on my quad. Its a great piece of equipment. I did it in a few hours by myself. You wont find a better winch for the price. I tried it out first ride. Got stuck and winch worked great.

Mounted winch on included plate and then onto an 18 in x 2in receiver. Tested unit by using jumper cables and used to pull a 3-wheeler the length of the winch cable and up a slight incline. Worked as expected.

I made this so it could be put in my hitch receiver so I can pull my elk and deer out of the woods when I get them close enough. Also have pulled cars out of the ditches. Great winch
