The unit is great, instructions were easy to ready. None of screws are labeled, by bag or any other way. That’s a real pain and it could be much easier if they invested a little bit more to identify the screws

Terrible product. Assembly instructions unclear. Quality of the plastic is cheap. Screws difficult to drill into cheap plastic without stripping. Would not recommend this at all’

Paper directions combined with the video will get you through assembly. Complications might arise from holes that don't line up. The front door hinges for us were a big problem for us. The screw for the hinge is supposed to go through a pin hole on the door support that didn't line up properly on 3 of 4 screws. Lifetime may consider supplying self-tapping screws as it is highly unlikely that the hinge screws will line up properly.

Between the written instructions and the YouTube guide we put this shed together with little problems. We did have some warpage in both the floor and the lids, but they still went together ok. Seems to be very well made and sturdy. Also a few holes were not completely punched out, but we just punched them out and it all went together fine.

It took about 2 hours to put together. I deducted for the time we spent squabbling and prepping the area it would eventually end up at. The floor is very flimsy and a sturdy base is needed. Had to scan the QR a few times as well to make sure the instructions were correct. It’s rained a few times since installing and there’s no water in the container. The doors and the floor are probably its weakest parts but overall is good.

It took 3 people 6-7 hours to put together. over 6 screws were stripped when we first put them in we used super glue on them and on one hinge & screws as they were too small for the job and would work loose easily. It is flimsy, we are going to store wood in it so should suit our purposes. I do not recommend nor would I buy again.

This horizontal shed sits perfectly out of sight of the street and is full of totes, tools, and bicycles. It looks as pictured and is quite sturdy. I like that it has a floor, and the top has a slight decline which will keep rain from pooling. My 17 year old and I took about half day to put it together. The drill (which we swapped bits to double as a power screw driver) and rubber mallet were both musts. Also, YouTube...the directions were somehow comprehensive but yet not totally clear. Lifetime has several short videos on YouTube for each of the sections that helped us tremendously. Our parts were only short 2 screws-the rear support required 6 but we only received 4, everything else was present, hooray. I shopped a few brands before I decided on Lifetime-even with shipping Sam's Club price couldn't be beat. The Made in the USA part and positive comments on their customer service were also factors. I would recommend this product :).

So... Looks great. But what a process. I am not a professional contractor by any stretch, but I know what I'm doing better than most. This was the most difficult build i have ever done. So many steps. So many screws. Self tapping screws didn't catch in steel. Screwing plastic and steel together difficult to tighten without stripping plastic. Happy i got it. Looks great. Happier I'm done. Not recommended unless you know what you are doing and then only if you have considerable spare time.

I really like this shed. I got it to hold trash and recycling. It's perfect for that. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because some of the screws actually in the package were wrong (I got the correct ones at the hardware store) and I received 2 "female" bars instead of 1 male and 1 female. I tried to get the correct one, but I'm still waiting for a reply email. Take the time to sort and label all of the parts before attempting to begin assembly.
