Didn't last a year

Although these are smooth riding tires and I mainly do highway driving, after less than 9 months and under 9,000 miles since purchase. I am told the tread is worn down to the point where I needed to replace them. These were supposed to be touring tires, so I assumed they'd last at least 2 -3 years. I keep my car maintained and wheels balanced, so I don't know why they wore out so fast.

Consistent Great Performers, 4 set changes

Not sure why anyone has had problems with these Touring TA 94H BFGoodrich tires. I've been putting these tires on two different vehicles for years. The were first recommended to me by a friend who had them on his car. Priced reasonably, I found out immediately that my car road quieter, gripped better and cruised smoother than before. I have tracked mileage on each set that I've purchased. The highest mileage set last about 60K miles, before they needed to be changed. The most recent set that I wore out lasted about 45K, but I knew that I didn't do the rotations and the alignments as much as I used to. When I put on this new set, last week, I immediately had the car aligned. I got mine from Sam's Club at about $83 apiece. I remember at least two sets of tires ago, I paid about $79. So they haven't gone up a lot. I only use these tires on both of my cars and I have been very pleased with their performance.

Originally purchased these tires 1-23-2009, mounted on a 2002 Honda Civic EX. Mileage on vehicle at time of purchase was 33635, vehicle now has over 97000 miles. I believe I got my money's worth out of these tires. Serviced vehicle regularly and at that time rotated tires, checked air pressure and made sure alignment was okay. Am in the process of getting a new set of these tires for the Civic.

Advantage TA tires are fantastic

I drive tons of miles, I have put on probably 5 to 6 sets of tires on the same model car. The BFG's are by far the best I have had so far. Tried Goodyear LS-2's, Michilan XV's, Firestones, Dunlops and Cooper CS4's. Living in the upper Midwest we see rain, sleet, snow, you name it these tires preform well in all the above, even in the snow. I used to switch to snow tires with the other brands I tried, not since going back to BFG's. My 04 Concorde has 359,000 miles on it and tried all the above. I would recommend these to all. Quiet, wear well, excellent priced, just never had any issues with BFG tires, ever. Run them on my trucks too, they just hold up well. If you need a great all around M&S rated tire these will work well for you. Just bought another set (4th) to put on one of my 300M Chryslers. Thanks BFG!

Amazing tire for the price!

I bought these tires about 2 weeks ago and they are amazing! I cannot believe how smooth the ride they are and there is a little bit of a road noise but it's not enough to really even count. At highway speeds they are very smooth very comfortable. I am so glad I went back to BF Goodrich!

Love my new tires!

I bought these tires from Belle Tire a week a go and have about 500 miles on them and have driven on dry, wet, and now just yesterday in the fresh new snow. In all conditions I have enjoyed the ride. Smooth, quite for the most part, and most of all very happy with the traction!

I needed tires and am happy with the ones I purchased

I bought these tires because I was scared about my previous ones. These ones make me feel better. They do start a little loud (which new tires have a tendency to do that). These are good quality tires for a decent price too. I am posting this before too much ware has been put on them too (bought and placed on 1/21/25 and it's 1/24/25 as I type this now.)

1st Car tire from BFGoodrich

Bought these tires mostly because it was within budget and from a brand I've known in the off-road world. They seem to be better than the OEM firestones FR740? But they were Old to begin with (9yrs). So far dry performance is decent.. Good Control, Cornering traction, Response but a bit heavier to accelerate though just because they are wider than stock from 185/55r16 to these 205/50r16. We'll see in the long run how they perform.. especially on the next winter season.. they seem to be siped well. They're not directional or asymmetric but not sure if that matters

Outstanding tire

I have had 4 different major brands of tires on this car since it was new.. All had poor traction on dry and wet pavement. They all had a stiff ride with lots of slap on the road tar strips. They all had issues with tracking even with perfect alignments. This new Advantage Control is amazing. First thing I noticed was the car tracked absolutely perfect. Then I noticed in heavy rains I had no hydroplaning . Then I saw Dry traction was improved. This is an area that had always been a problem with the light front end of the Camry. Finally a big bonus was how quiet the tire is. The tire absorbs bumps in the road that all other tires could shake my teeth, All this and near total removal of the slapping sound on tar strips. I have yet to try this tire on snow or ice or check for tread wear, but so for this has been the best tire I have ever owned and I have tried a lot of tires over the 25 years I owned an auto repair facility

Very happy

Very quiet compared to the Mitchell that was previously on my 2016 equinox. Maximum psi on the tire says 44 PSI The information panel on the door suggest 35 psi max The side wall looks a little mushy can I inflate tires to a higher 40 psi ???? Thank you

Mike58, if your Advantage Control tires are the same size as the original equipment tires that came on your vehicle, it is recommended to use the pressure recommendation on the door jamb. If they are a different size than those tires originally equipped on your vehicle, we would suggest that you contact our team at 866-866-6605 to discuss.
