The best apple pie I've eaten. Just like homemade. Used to only purchase the chocolate pie, but they changed it from past years and threw away my purchase after waiting months for it to return. Too bad Sam's doesn't take notice of the current 62% one star reviews and go back to what the majority liked. Hopefully they will leave this apple pie alone.

I love apple pies and have purchased many varieties. This is the first apple pie that disappointed me. The pie itself looked good, but it was far from it. The crust tasted undercooked, doughy. The apple pie filling wasn’t sweet at all. I tried heating a slice in the oven, but it didn’t make a difference. The crust remained soggy underneath and had to spit it out.

I tried many retail grocers apple pies but nothing compares to Sam's Honeycrisp Apple pie, The filling is not too dry or too jelly; the crust not under or overbaked. As for the lattice crust, it is brushed with some sort of sugary egg wash which results in a firm and crisp topping that is not soggy when baked to warm it up. The crust overall is not buttery but still flaky, although the edges of the pie can be abit dry but makes up for it with the apple filling as you indulge with spoon or fork. The apples are not too hard or too mushy, just perfectly tender with a bite in between. Cinnamon and sugar ratio of the filling seems more on the sweeter side, as there is hardly any tartness due to the apple variety which I conclude can be enjoyed alone with tea/coffee or paired with ice cream if your sweet tooth insist. Overall, this type of pie is perfect to introduce to a beginner who never had apple pie in their life as the honeycrisp variety welcomes a pleasant and sweet introduction to the palette. 8/10; would enjoy again and be part of our staple if needed.

Way too much sugar and filler, not many apples. Overall not very good half of it was thrown out!

Ok but needs more cinnamon and longer cook time

It was ok. Not the best. Great price. Maybe just to liqidy. Won't buy that flavor again.

Awesome Apple pie! Bottom crust is too thick but filling and top crust make up for it. Perfect sweetness. Phenomenal price!

One of my favorites, very delicious, and lots of apple slices although I love the crust part of the pie.

Pretty good pie especially when you consider price and size. Put it in a bowl with whip cream and a scoop and it tastes like an apple crisp desert.
