The crust on this pie is too soft. If the crust was more crispy this would be a great pie. The filling is very good.

Bottom crust was not cooked fully & soggy. Apples had Endocarp on some of the slices. Had to throw out the last quarter of the pie as it got moldy.

This is our all time favorite apple pie! Flaky crust, apples are cooked to perfection. Pie is big enough for your whole family

Sam's pies are usually excellent. Not this time. The crust wasn't done...it was "gooey" & not at all the usual Sam's quality, delicious pie. This was for a work gathering and it was very disappointing.

What a great deal $10 and some change for this huge, juicy loaded with wonderfully seasoned apple pie- I can't make it for this little - the crust is also like home made- Gotta get another

This pie was not baked long enough and the apples were very hard. This was a gift and the recipient told me how hard it was to eat like this. I was very disappointed and now I don't know if I will buy again.

I don't see how it won an award. The crust was dry and bland. Some apples had some flavor while others were like raw potatoes. I won't be wasting any more money on this pie.

This pie is entirely too sweet and full of sugar. You can do without the sugar on top, it's already unhealthy.

Pie is excellent. Buy it quite often. Just a few times I have found apple skin or a stem in a slice. Crust is flaky.

The apples are better than the previous version but the pie is mostly dough and thickened sweet goo.
