Where I live its pretty much Philly or the generic grocery store brand cream cheese and always Philadelphia wins. So nice and creamy that can be spread and eatten on crackers, bagels or whipped uo into delicious cream cheese frosting. If you use it in baking or frosting make sure you buy the brick one as it will turn out better.

I consider Philadelphia cream cheese the OG of cream cheese. I think the only other one we have used is the great value brand and that's because they were out of Philadelphia. We use cream cheese mostly for recipes that call for small amounts or jalapeño poppers.

Very creamy, a little watery when you open the package but gets creamier when mixed/beaten. I use it to make cheesecake and when thawed to room temp, it doesn't leave any lumps which is perfect! Also it lasts pretty long in the fridge, so you don't have to use it right away.

As much as I want to believe that “cream cheese is cream cheese, Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese is always the brand I come back for. It has a perfectly creamy yet firm texture, never watery as some other cream cheeses can be, and the flavor is ... well, it's my childhood. Easy to use in recipes and alone - it's the go to in our home.

This “spread” just didn't have the same flavor as regular cream cheese. I thought it would be better to use for a dip recipe so it would blend in better, but the flavor and texture was just off. I wouldn't even use this on bagels/toast because or the odd aftertaste (or maybe I just got a bad batch??)

You can't beat Philadelphia cream cheese. Fun fact: in Italy - they call cream cheese “Philadelphia” - so I think that says a lot about this brand. The only way you can get something better is if you try one of their other many delicious flavors. Stick with the best.

This American, classic Philadelphia cream cheese goes well with bagels. I loved her Schmeer a decent amount on a nicely toasted bagel and go to town. It's also a wonderful ingredient if you're baking and you want to add an extra layer of richness to your recipe.

I liked the fact that I could cut up to mix with my favorite cream cheese fruits and mixing for my bagels. I mixed up one with honey and fresh pecans from my tree it tasted better than the one I buy at the store. My next one to try will be blueberry in summer.

I have to be honest right away, the only time I eat this is in my cheesecakes. I have never in my life been a big cheese eater. Perfectly creamy and adds the right amount of a tart/cheesy taste as opposed to other brands I have tried. My husband loves this stuff.

I do not like cream cheese that much to begin with so I don't have much of a say in flavor but texture is nice a spreads easily. There are many flavors from savory ones to sweet ones. I would only buy this for a recipe or something like that nothing I would constantly be restocking
