I bought this over a month ago and when I set it up, the WiFi gave a MAC address error that made no sense for a new machine. So, to even play the thing, I had to skip all the setup and play the installed games offline, which is the only reason I’m giving it more than one star, because the games are fun and the controls feel good. Naturally,I contacted support right away and uploaded screenshots, etc. After waiting nearly a month for a reply, they said they’ve been overwhelmed and didn’t get a chance to even download my files from the WeTransfer service, so I had to do it again. After uploading again, I waited another week for a response which was to do a factory reset, which I promptly did. This time, it got past the WiFi issue but as I continued setup, the login/registration site is fundamentally broken on all devices and all browsers that I tried. If you login with a user id & password from a previous registration, it tells you the password is wrong. When I clicked “forgot password” and entered my email, I got a screen that said “something went wrong”. I then attempted to create a new account with a different email, and the “register” button did not work at all. Note, I tried this on my PC, android phone, and iPad with all available browsers on each and got the same behavior so it is their site that is hosed. So, even though I got past the initial error, more stuff is broken and I still have a $600 brick, essentially. And my 2-month ArcadeNet trial is already one month used. I had high hopes for this machine, and still do, but would not recommend this until they get their setup process fixed end-to-end.

I wasnt a big fan of all the games on the system at first. Then CoinopX changed the game. You can bring your own games. Add Steam Games to play locally or their cloud service. The pinball add on is just the icing on the cake. So much function and fun.

30 day warranty from ATGAMES, ugh unacceptable, I didn't read the small print before purchasing, I guess my bad. I also didn't purchase the extended warranty, so if you do purchase one of these units, ( if I had to do it all over again I wouldn't ) do yourself a favor and purchase the extended warranty. if you need to contact ATGAMES you can only contact them via email, So mentally prepare yourself for some email volleyball aggravation. My only option is to pay them $60 for another Mainboard, which might I add.... they can't be certain if this will totally fix the issue, so at this point it's a crap shoot. Very depressing, well it was fun until it wasn't.

I just purchased this a couple of weeks ago. Was easy to assemble. Came shipped via Fedex in perfect condition. Small niggle on assembly is there were no pilot holes for screwing in the 3 screws for the front panel. No biggie, but if AtGames is reading maybe take a look at it for future production runs. I know a lot of people are upset about the removal of CoinOpsX, but at least currently for $100 you can get full ability to connect other devices and load your own games. I don't think that's unreasonable. I loaded a bunch of extra games. Still some things to work through on the ROMs, but overall it's a great platform as is and to mod if you want to. If you think you will only use it occasionally, it's a bit pricey, but for the gamer it's a no brainer honestly. Good purchase and looking forward to years of enjoyment with family and friends.

Was awesome when it worked but the arcade stopped working for the 32 days I had it. It's almost impossible to reach anyone from Atgames and the Atgames warranty is only 30 days and you are out of luck if you bought somewhere else. I'm glad Sam's was able to take it back and provide me a full refund.

The shipping process is too rough for this unit. Mine came broken and chipped/severely scratched and dented with screws ripped out and missing or in the bottom of the box causing scratches/damage. So I'd suggest to buy it in the store. That to the side, the software appears to be somewhat beta. Wifi is unreliable at boot-up. Even if connected, ArcadeNet's login doesn't log-in automatically and complains there's no network (even though there is). It's a struggle to get it back on-line. There are numerous wireless glitches. But if you just want a basic unit to play without the wifi/subscription features, it's nice. The controls are great and very genuine arcade-like. It'll play games off USB with a bit of work. You'll want to look into this because it's missing some of the bigger titles people might expect. But it does have some great titles like Tempest and Asteroids. The Disney titles appear to be largely Sega console games.

I purchased the Atgames Legends Ultimate from Sams about a year ago. I wanted to own it for awhile before leaving my review. It arrived to my house undamaged, it was well packaged and handled by Fedex. I unblocked the unit and assembled it without issues. I went online and updated the firmware and started to use the arcade right away. I found the list of included games to be quite good, with some major titles that took advantage of the controls, which are impressive, two joysticks, two spinners, and even a trackball. Centipede looks and plays fantastic as does Black Widow. Boogie Wings is another stand out title. What I like about the ALU is the upgradability. I added a BitLCD to mine and its amazing. I also appreciate the ability to side load games and even purchase games directly from Atgames. The Activision pack plays so well here with over 40 titles for 25 bucks. After having it for a few months I sold off my Arcade1ups and my iircade as the ALU was better than either of them in just about every meaningful way. The screen size and quality far surpassed both and the amount of games and controls were also reasons I moved on from the other two brands. Atgames has the best affordable multicade out there hands down.

Purchase late 2021. Very low use in my man-cave - no abuse at all. A couple months back I had screen flashing, then the controls started becoming unresponsive a couple minutes after power on. I finally got it to run diagnostics and it shows the MCU (mainboard) and BT (bluetooth) are no good. I verified all connections were reseated and the power supply is putting out correct power level.

I've owned this thing for nearly a year. I was lucky that I got one that worked, first and foremost. A lot of these arrive damaged, improperly manufactured, or missing parts entirely. They're really cheap, the firmware is not so great (it's really buggy and it never stays connected), and the company that makes them is really bad at support. I've been able to play the built-in games, but that's about it. This thing barely works and after talking to other owners in online forums I do not understand why there are so many positive reviews for it. I've talked to countless people who have also been ignored by their support team. You're pretty much on your own as soon as you buy it so be careful. You've been warned.

Arrived Saturday. One corner of the box was dented, causing one of the panels to be damaged, but not too noticeable. Was super easy to put together. The machine starts up, games work great. But has no sound at all. Everything is hooked up correctly. I have emailed Support twice, no response back.
