We had never heard of this brand of coffee before, but my husband researched coffee for the Breville barista machine and noted the great reviews on flavor etc. Wow, we absolutely love this flavor as well as the Lavazza latte roast and the medium roast. All decadent!!! We bought several bags! Highly recommend with just a tad of creamer if your choice steamed with milk it’s soooo delish!!

The Lavazza Espresso whole bean is my go to for drip coffee. I like the medium dark roasty body, and full aroma. I would say that the immediate aroma reminds me of leather, cocoa, tart cherry; the taste is lightly caramelly, raw filbert, and floral. I sip with a creamer. The whole beans are not always available, so I try to keep any eye out when I begin getting low.

This is a very flavorful bean. This may sound weird, but I was very happy to see that it wasn't a waxie and shiny bean. I have tried many beans and this is the best I have found. When I make a Latte I make it with 5 shots of espresso. So I do want a bean that is full of flavor and not bitter.

the only coffee we will buy. worth it for the 2.5 lb bag it lasts awhile and always tastes fresh

Excellent beans and great value when Sam's has these in stock. The price is better than anywhere else. They are frequently out of stock so I always start checking my app to see if Sam's has them as I'm starting to get low. I use a high quality burr grinder for my espresso machine and these beans produce as much crema and flavor as some of the beans I've bought from local roasters. This is my daily favorite for espresso.

This should not be called espresso. It is much too light. The flavor wasn’t great, either. I used to get the Landmark brand but it’s no longer carried. Recently I’ve been ordering the Starbucks espresso roast which is good but thought I’d try something different. I returned it to the store.
