I purchased these tires to replace the original Continentals on my 2004 Trailblazer EXT 4wd at about 70k miles. I have put a little over 40k on them with no issues. They make a little more noise than the Continentals, but that is expected from a more aggresive tread pattern. They are comfortable on the highway and have handled well in all conditions. I've never hydroplaned or lost traction in any condition. Drove to work this morning in 1" of snow with no problems. Even in last year's blizzard I rarely had to use 4wd. There is more than half tread left, so I expect to get another 30k or 40k out of them. I purchased these at [@] for $200 less than the local retailer (for the set) and am very pleased. I will purchase another BFGoodrich product.

These tires changed the entire feel of our mini-van. Three years ago we tried to improve the ride when bought another brand. After getting an alignment and front-end work, the car still pulled left and right. With the new Michelins, it no longer pulls, is much quieter, and holds the road regardless of weather. We've decided to keep the car, and always use Michelins.

I bought these tires based upon the rating they received from Consumer Reports Magazine and my own personal experience with Michelin tires. The tires give a smooth, quiet, and comfortable ride on my 2006 Toyota Avalon. They are replacing a set of Michelin Premier All Season tires.

I have not had a new set of tires in quite some time, and I just bought a set for my Rav 4. Love the way they feel, the way they hug the road and feel so much safer. I don't recall ever purchasing Michelin brand before and wish I had for sure! Definitely can tell the difference. It will be the brand I pick and recommend from now on.

These tires came stock on my 2015 Toyota Tacoma. I had read poor reviews about these prior to purchase of the vehicle, but wanted to approach the reviews with a healthy level of skepticism. What I can tell you: I drive a lot, for both work and personal activities. Which means I put 30,000 miles on this vehicle in 11 months. I also live and work in a place where snow, ice and hardpack are around for 5 months of the year. I have never had to purchase specific winter tires for a vehicle. I purchased the truck new with these tires, kept them properly inflated and rotated every 5000 miles. Pros: The tires are light, quiet and fuel efficient for dry bare pavement and light rain. They did not disappoint for summer driving and light off road use 1-2 times per month on rocky or rutted gravel and sand roads with no change in tire pressure. The tires definitely wear well, as a result of the harder compound. Cons: These tires performed fine on hardpack snow in 4wd for the first 5,000- 10,000 miles worth of use. Shortly after I purchased the vehicle it was driven from Michigan to Montana in Mid November. Overall the tires performed reasonably well in mountain passes with fresh snow over ice and hardpack. However, after about 10,000 miles of use the tires did not hook up as well, in snow when cornering at low speeds, and stopping despite different driving styles (mine and my wife's) was downright unpredictable. Shortly therafter, I was unable make it up our short snow covered driveway without the use of 4wd, (in my previous vehicle wrangler rubicon unlimited with hankook and other BFG All terrain tires 4wd was not necessary.) I would not recommend these tires for anyone looking for an all terrain or all season tire for areas that receive significant amounts of snow. The hard compound does not hook up well in winter conditions.

I have been driving on michelin tires for 20 years now. I will always be driving on michelin tires. I have been driving now for over 50 years and on many other tire brands as well but michelin tires will always be on my vehicles now. Great company to deal with if you have an issue.

these came on my pick up and have 55,000 so far and have little life left. they seem to hold up and work good but they have little cracks started after been on for three years . but they don't leak air or doesn't bother performance. I put new on back and havent cracked yet maybe after four years they crack because it was new and probably was on the truck a few month s before I bought them even though it was bran new truck

The Michelin Defender2 provides a nice quiet ride. They're very responsive yet stable. The 80,000 mile warranty is nice, and did impact my decision, and so far I'm happy with them. Probably the last tires I'll be buying for this vehicle (MB ML350).

I've just (9/23/13) replaced 4 BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A tires on my 4X4 pick up truck. I knew it had been a while since I'd put them on so I checked my records and found that I'd purchased those tires on 9/15/06 at 94,600 miles. When I replaced those tires, my odometer read 185,400. Now I'm no mathematician, but I add that up to 90,800, a remarkable number of miles for one set of tires. 7 years and 90,000 miles (I know I could have easily made it 100,000), you can bet your house that I replaced those 4 tires with 4 more Rugged Trail T/A's!

OEM FOR THE TRD OFF ROAD 4X4 are Rugged Well Constructed Tires that Look like New after 20,000 miles and show an even wear pattern- Road Holding is superb at High Speeds- They Maintain Traction in the deepest Snow- or the torrential Rains- of course using sense with the speed to suit conditions-- Bite Hard during emergency Manuevers or Hard Braking---Maintain a Straight line on the highway with no Pull - aggressive Looks and raised letters stay white with no extra effort- Never Lost Air Pressure due to extreme weather fluctuations-- Rugged Trail T/A Provide a Comfortable ride after a bit of breaking in- that could have also been the Off Road Heavy Shock set up for the TRD Version and my only wish would be for 10 % stiffer sidewall- but that would in turn increase ride harshness- SO Since the Toyota Engineers chose this specific tire as best overall- I would have to agree with their pick- Even thought I was Partial to Michelins on my Lexus LS 400 and my Honda Ridgeline- I would have to say thet BF Goodrich Match Michelins Quality and are exceptionally well desgined and I haven't had the slightest hint of a problem of any sort- I couldn't be happier with the ride comfort, a quieter tire than Michelin to now that I think of it- and that is an important factor-- I really have nothing but good things to say about B.F. Goodrich- which I had not had experienced in 20 + years- but will not hesitate to Purchase an Exact Set when it comes time to do so.
