Do not buy

I am a contractor and drive in many condition. These tire handle fine on the highway. However they are about worthless in any other condition. In snow, mud or wet grass they do not have any traction. The tread fills up and you have slicks. I am not impressed with the tread life. I have had these on two vehicles booth dodge 2500. One was a diesel and the other gas. Booth trucks had worn tires within 15,000 miles and needed to be replaced. That was with rotating them every time oil was changed. Every 4 to 5 thousand miles. I you plan on driving in any condition other than highway chose another tire. I don't expect great wear with a 2500 series truck but i have had much better luck with other brand tires.

Disappointing

Came on my 2015 Tacoma 4x4 TRD. Ride fine and handle well however worn out at 34,000 miles. Blew the driver's side front tire on a sharp rock this week so will replace all four. Use about 80% highway and 20% off road. Serviced by dealer and kept inflation correct. Parked in garage. Expected double the miles or a couple more years before needing replacement. I'm looking for a different brand.

So disappointed

I have had bfg's on every one of my vehicles and this has been the only product I have been truly disappointed in. Purchased with a brand new 15 titan for my commuter vehicle (5miles)and the tires didn't last 20k miles. I would expect that of a performance tire, but not this tire and what it's "designed" for.

Great Tire

These were the original tires on my Dodge Ram 2500. I put 80,000 miles on them and could have gotten more, but I replaced them because it was getting close to winter. I put another set of Rugged Trail T/A's and have 50,000 miles them. They still have a lot of tread, won't be replacing them anytime soon.

Extremely disappointed

OEM Nissan Frontier Pro X4: 2012 This is my wife's daily driver. She is past full retirement age and drives on pavement and rarely any place with a speed limit over 45mph. The truck has 31,000 miles and the tires are bald. Have had two previous F150s with Goodrich OEM tires that ran to the 7x,xxx range. To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

Absolutely Terrible

Like others other reviewers, I had these tires as OEM tires on a brand new 2014 Nissan Frontier Pro-4x and had very early failures on all 4 tires. My tires had to be replaced a few weeks ago after only 13 months and 12,303 miles due to excessive cracking in every groove of every tire. Absolutely terrible. This is not an uncommon problem with these tires and BFGoodrich should fix it. There is a lot of information on the internet available on these tires cracking.

Smooth ride, great handeling

I purchased a set of these to replace a set of General AltMAX RT 43's. Boy, what a world of difference. Much quieter, and smoother ride. Handeling was noticeably quicker response. These tires really hug the road. Have driven on multiple road surfaces and they grip well in all terrain.

Defender 2's are LOUD, LOUD tires

I wish I could give a "0" to the defender 2. I just purchased them last week and they are LOUD. Very, Very LOUD. They are so bad my wife does not want to drive in the Santa Fe with me. If you are smart, please stay away from the Defender 2. Thank you.

These tires not only ...

These tires not only delivered great mileage(65,000) they performed really well in the snow.We drove 100 miles in white out conditions at night & never lost traction. That includes driving past a "road closed" sign on a very steep mnt. pass that had cars & trucks spun out everywhere!

Great Tire!

My 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty 4x4 came with tires. I love them. No road noise, consistant wear across front and rear. I have 77,000 miles on them and could do about another 3k but the treads getting to the point where off road theres little grip and I need a front end alighment. I do about half my driving as towing and most as highway or rural roads, very little city. No problem tires.
