I would buy this again and again if needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great flavor for chili. This would go great with Fritos or any other type of chip for a good filling snack. I reiceved free product in compensation for this review. I would recommend this product to a friend and is a great source of protein.

Defiantly a pantry staple In our house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my husbands favorite chili. And to be canned it's actually really tasty. We will continue to buy over and over! Thank you hormel and viewpoints for allowing me to sample this product in return for my honest opinion!

i love this.

I keep it in a plastic container in refrige and use it up in about a month. Mix it with different things for pasta sause, add it to white rice so a bowl of rice becomes more of a meal. Mix it often 50/50 with smushed pinto beans and use that as spaghetti sause or mixed with rice. Makes that ten dollar price per can seem to go much farther. So I think it is slightly expensive but have to pay if I want to enjoy it.

I love it

This is the most important ingredient in my recipe for sloppy Joes. However, since you made the can smaller, there is less chili goodness in the end product. I don't know how to adjust the other ingredients to get the same sloppy Joes taste I have grown up eating and fed to my children and grandchildren.

Good stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tastes good heated in a pan on the stove or in a glass bowl in the microwave. Best with sprinkled cheese melted on top and some tortilla chips. It's not too salty. Perfect amount of chunks. Great flavor. Nice and plain.

Our Go-To Beanless Chili

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love no bean Chili in our household and this one does not disappoint! It has a hearty beef flavor and the texture is perfect. It's our go to when we want to make chili cheese dogs or nachos. So happy to find a bean free chili my family loves!

Very disappointed - won't buy again

We've always used Hormel chili for our chili dogs. As soon as I put it in the pan I could tell it was different. Really soupy with not a lot of meat. Taste was different too. After all these years of buying it, I won't waste my money now. Whatever you changed - change it back!!

Seeking Higher Quality
1 out of 5 stars review

Not all that meaty, and definitely thin and watery.

I bought this because it is actually pretty difficult to find a meat only chili for chilli burgers and dogs. It is visibly too watery so I had to drain it and when I looked at the ingredients 3, 4 and 5 are textured Soy Flour, Oatmeal, Corn Flour. In other words, half of it is fillers and ones that upset most of my families stomachs. I looked for a can of organic meat only chili, which I would happily pay more for, but neither Hormel nor any other company I could find makes one. Please consider making higher quality, meat only, not too chunky chili for sandwiches and dogs. I would pay more for convenience if I could find it. And I'm in Portland where we almost always pay more for higher quality food! Until then, making my own..... and I would also be checking the label for *no fillers and preferably GF overall*

Definitely a lifelong Hormel chili dog fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The family is a huge fan of chili dogs, and Hormel makes it quick and easy after a long day of work and school! I get the dogs ready with Hormel chili, mustard, onion, and cheese and pop those in the toaster over for a few minutes - delicious! The texture of this chili and the seasonings are just perfect! The serving size is just right for our family of four chili dog night!

Pork ends it for me!

I've always loved Hormel Chili No Beans, but your adding pork to the recipeit ends my love affair... In a time when recipes can be readily improved by removing lesser ingredients, you have managed to lower quality... Stupid move, Hormel! I'll be looking elsewhere for my Chili. BTW, your newer product , Hormel Chunky Chili, is even worse tastes nasty, sweet.
