Despite spending over an hour trying to calibrate and troubleshoot, I was never able to get this product to properly reflect the screen's color palette. In my first image, you can see that it ignores the blues and greens altogether and glows red. In the second image, while the LEDs better reflect the majority of what is going on, it fails spectacularly at reflecting the reds and oranges in the corners. So, if you are in the market for a set of LEDs that just light up the edge of your screen, this will do what you want. If you are looking for something that even tries to reflect what is going on at the corners of your screen, this is NOT the product to buy.With that said, there are some really strong points to the Govee Immersion. Installation is very easy, while set up and calibration via the app is really well done. It's just too bad that it just doesn't do what it claims to do in the long run.

I'm removing a star because I thought you can connect this on the govee light bars I already owned. It sucks that it can't and I am forced to buy the kit which contains both instead. Overall I like this product just wish that they add an adapter where I can add my previous govee light bars.

Overall it's OK but disappointed 1. Was disappointed to find the LED strips were not long enough to go fully around my 65 inch TV, there is no light in the corners. 2. It's a pain to setup, I had to run the calibration 20+ times to finally get it right. Then had to watch numerous YouTube videos on how to get the relative brightness, saturation, and white balance correct to have it actually work. After at least 2 hours I had it recognizing the colors correctly and looks cool, but the dark corners are still annoying.

Just got these for my S95C OLED as they were replacing my old T1 system, all I have to say is these are such a huge upgrade and overall just a better product than anything else I've tried. The responsiveness is the closest you'll get to that of a sync box! Set up was a breeze, synced perfectly to my other Govee products. Overall, these are a huge upgrade to the T1 and just about anything else out there. The camera is a HUGE improvement with its fish eye correction and black bar eliminating setting, the biggest thing I noticed is that these finally go black in all dark scenes (thank you god for this!) that alone makes these the best thing out there. Not even the T2 can do that. Look no further than the T3 Lite!

The backlight adapting to what is on the screen adds more than I thought it would. It's bright enough to be seen with lights on full blast but when the lights are out is when it shines.It can be tricky to getting it set up, but it's user friendly enough to not be a problem. Also when it's set up, that's it. You may have to calibrate it again if you move the TV but that's it.My only complaint (which is a small one) is that the 55" TV i have is slightly small when considering the length of the LED strips. This causes some overlap when applying them to the back of the TV and sometimes causes two colors to shine from the same spot. It's definitely not a deal breaker but it would be nice to see future products be made with specific sized TVs in mind. I understand that this is a catch-all size and it works great, so my gripe isn't a big one. The longer LEDs made sticking them on the back of the TV somewhat tedious but I'd imagine 60" and higher TVs wouldn't have this problem.All in all- 10/10 and I definitely recommend it if you're on the fence.

The sync and colors are very accurate and not terribly intrusive. If watching live concerts try turning on the sound effect option for maximum immersion. Tested it with hallway scene from rogue one, Gandalf's Balrog scene and Radiator springs scene from Cars.

It makes the experience so much better, plus we don't have to have all the living room lights on in order to watch tv comfortably! The power source is supposed to stick to the tv, but the adhesion wore off pretty quickly. Doesn't impact my watching at all though, so overall not a huge problem!

It was so easy and simple to install and create a Govee account! I was very impressed! The light effects lab is so cool and so many personalization features. I was worried about the lights not sticking to the tv but they are stuck on there very securely so im not worried about them falling off. The camera is a great feature also! Easy to figure out and impressive. The microphone is very sensitive, not a bad thing just thought I should mention.

Bought it for myself now buying multiple for gifts. Calibration is easy and the lights look amazing. Luke's scene in the mandalorian rock. His green saber flows from left to right as red blasters shoot around the scene. Definitely enhances movies and the app has a ton of modes and options. Highly recommend.

Using the Blacklight 3 Lite w/ my 43" TV and a pair of Govee basic floor lamps for past 5 days amd I am impressed with difference a little bit of "smart" lighting does while watching movies, YouTube, etc. The DreamView setting/scene is awesome, TV seems larger once you get the white balance, amd relative brightness configured properly. Top quality product that feels and looks it will last a long time. Will most definitely be coming back for more Govee products.
