So good

Roasted for. 6.5 hours at 300 F. It was excellent, tender. It sliced so easily. Seasoned with salt and pepper. I like to taste the Flavor of the meat not a lot of spices. Will doe one of these ago …for company.

Really fatty

I used the Sam’s club pick up thinking that I might get a really good Boston butt. Probably better than what I would pick out. But when I got it home to bbq it I had to cut a bunch of fat off it unfortunately. Probably not buy it again. Especially since I paid over $14 for it. :(

My Favorite Pork Roast

This is the second time I have purchased the Member's Mark Bone-In Pork Boston Butt and both times I have been very pleased with the quality. I season it and roast it for 4-6 hours. The meat is tender, flavorful, and moist. My family has commented both times on how good the roast is. It is a large roast and was large enough for our 10 adult guests.

My go to selection for Barbecue or get togather

I usually smoke these low and slow on my smoker and it always comes out great. But lately it has been too cold to go outside to use the smoker, so I season them up the same way and cook it low and slow in my oven and it comes out almost as good minus the smoke flavor. Sometimes I cook it for pulled pork and it is usually so flavorful I don't need to add any sauce to it. Sometimes I just cook it like a roast so I can slice it up. Either way I cook it the results are always juicy and flavorful and enough for several meals or freeze some for a later date and just throw the vacuum sealed bag in a pot of boiling water for about 10 minutes. So it doesn't dry out reheating it.

You have to try this roast!! You’ll love it!!

This was the best deal ever! The meat was moist and tender and was an excellent buy for just $1.99 a pound. Please make sure to plan ahead because, at least in my area, this item must be ordered for curbside pick up and cannot be found in the meat case in the club.

TRY BONELESS WINGS WITH THIS

I know everyone likes their low and slow pork butt but 2 things everyone should try: 1. Just cut an inch piece and cook it like a steak. Better even if you then take those steaks and sous vide them for 24 hours, but the flavor is there either way. 2. Take a couple of those steaks, and cube them up into bite size pieces. Simply air fry your seasoned/marinated chunks for like 8 minutes, toss in buffalo sauce and dip in bleu cheese. IMO this is AS GOOD as chicken wings, leagues better than breaded boneless wings. Also extremely quick.

Pork Butt

my husband loves to pick these up from Sam's to smoke on the weekend. We are a large family so we are able to eat this all weekend and lets mama relax from dinner duty for a day. The kids never complain and always ask to pick one up when we are there.

Great for stews

Found an interesting recipe for stew in NYT and asked the butcher if he had something a little smaller than the large butts in the refrigerated case. He said he would be cutting some more and came back a few minutes later with just the right piece. BTW, the recipe was delicious.

Great value!

Just the right amount of marbling for flavor. Fat cap cooked just right, added additional flavor during slow cooking, easily removed before slicing or pulling. We use this for pulled pork bbq. Seared at 475 for ten minutes, then cooked at 275 for several hours (8 for this one). Have also cooked overnight in crockpot. This one was dinner for six, late night snack for few, lunch for six with enough left over to freeze and feed four lunch couple weeks later, never lost flavor or texture.
