Your body sinks into it but it’s pretty stiff. Once you’re sunk in it’s not easy to shift around. You kind of have to lift your body up and stay in the same spot as you reposition because to scoot over or roll you just feel like you’re falling back into the spot you were just sunk into to. I’d say it doesn’t support the heavier portions of your body very well and you end up with pressure in lighter areas, like the arch of your lower back is forced upward while your bottom and torso sink in.

We desperately needed a new mattress and this one came highly recommended. I’ve never purchased a mattress from a big box store so I had low expectations. Well I was wrong. This is one of the most comfortable and price friendly mattresses. I could even move it myself!

I ordered my Zinus online from Sam’s Club. My mattress came frozen and has yet to reach a full 12” after two weeks. It is a heavy mattress and would’ve impossible to send back or return to a Sam’s Club. Hoping it will slowly expand to a full 12”. Received this memory foam mattress, opened it and let it sit for 48 hours as instructed. Was supposed to be a 12” mattress but only expanded to 10”. Doesn’t feel like memory foam at all. The cover was baggy as if it was missing a layer of foam. Unzipped the cover and measured the foam. What was supposed to be two separate 3.5” layers of high-density base foam is actually two 2.5” layers of egg-crate style regular foam. What was supposedly “memory foam” is low density foam. Shipped the first one back and waiting on a replacement. Maybe I got a bad one???

I had to replace my old mattress, because it was too soft and not supportive enough. I was nervous about purchasing this one, but I absolutely love it! It provides good support to my body while also molding to fit me, so it's super comfortable. Now I've been visiting family for the holidays and miss sleeping in my own bed! Highly recommend! I also appreciate the sense of humor included in the instructions. It's amazing the high quality found in a mattress that's wrapped up and delivered in a box.

We bought 2. Neither expanded correctly. Had to replace both.

Did not expand pass 5 inches and it was supposed to be 12. I let it sit for 5 days.

Very comfortable mattress. It took about 4 days to fully decompress. It's one of the most comfortable mattresses I've slept on.
