This mattress is firm. I read all of the reviews but took my chances. We added a 3 inch memory foam which helped a lot. Its for my 5 year old son but ol mom lays down with him when he wakes up in the middle of the night. So its taken some getting used to, but overall I am pleased. Easy to remove from box and we waited 34 hours before using it. It clearly states when you receive the mattress that you are welcome to still sleep on it even though it may not have fully expanded yet, but we chose to wait.

My daughter's crib transformed into a full size bed, she is 2 and we went ahead and transformed it because she would move so much and end up cramped in the corner of the crib. I purchased this mattress to help and hope that she would have plenty of room to move during the night, but she sleeps so soundly on this mattress that she is almost the exact place she fell asleep the next day. There is also plenty of room to lay in bed with her and read story books which we love. It is very confortable, but it is very soft, my wife slept on it one night with her during the transition and complained the next morning about her back hurting, but we are used to sleeping on a firm mattress due to my back issues. We are pleased with this purchase.

We ordered a couple weeks a go, I’m glad I choose this mattress, but one thing I give this 4 Stars because when we open up the mattress is was a stain on it, like lightly brown stain. It not like a very noticeable so I keep it. I don’t mind, the mattress satisfy me a lot!

I was skeptical with buying mattress online. It is comfortable and was easy to set up. Only downside was delivery - 3rd floor apartment and driver was going to leave the box on the bottom floor by the steps. I trust my neighbors but didn’t want my items sitting outside all day - fortunately I was home and actually helped the driver bring yhe box to the apartment.

Bought this a CPL of weeks ago for our toddler to transition into, and to double as spare room. Family is in town now and said it's very comfortable. Also, I was worried it may take time to flatten out from being shipped rolled up, but it flattened out right away. Very Happy with this bed!

I have been buying bed at Sams club for years. All my beds I buy from Sams club because they are so comfortable. People always tell me my beds are so comfortable and want to know brand and where I got it from. 5 stars all the way. Shipping is fast in a small box.

We purchased 3 of these mattresses (queen). Two were for bunkbeds and one for a murphy bed. The level of softness does seem to vary to some degree, but overall I think it is very comfortable. My youngest daughter is 10 and cannot easily weigh down a sack of potatoes, so for her it is a bit firm. I would consider this mattress medium firm and good for the average person or child 13 years or older. There was no odor, and the mattress came to about 9.5" by the end of 5 days. There are some indents in the middle foam at the corners, but it doesn't seem to compromise the structural integrity at the corners (but worth removing one star as it's not perfect). Sam's shipping was quick and reliable.

Very disappointed that it never rose to 10" level-- stopped at 8.25". Only reason for a couple of stars is because Sam's Club accepted the return with no problem. The mattress construction looked same as the one I have, which inflated instantly to the full thickness upon opening the box, but Zinus mattress never reached the height after 5 days and nights. Should have listened to the other reviewers with the same issue.

We purchased this for our teenage son's bedroom. Overall we are satisfied with the product, but it is not as firm as we expected. He said he "sinks" in the mattress. The price was very affordable so we feel like we got a decent mattress for the price we paid.

I am disappointed in this product. It was supposed to be 10" mattress but after a couple weeks it still is at 9". The top layer of Memory Foam is too soft. Never seen memory foam to sink this far. Would not recommend. If I could send back I would be since it's so big I can't.
