It was a good price for a n.v item i was on the fence about. Past experience with memory foam ttpe bedding was at best not interesting. I bit the bu;llet and purchased this mattress , I wake up feeling good it is easy to get in and out of and overall provides for a very good nights sleep. I am very happy i fell on the right side of the fence, Woud I recomend it to a friend yes with no doubt in my mind.

I am disappointed in this product. It was supposed to be 10" mattress but after a couple weeks it still is at 9". The top layer of Memory Foam is too soft. Never seen memory foam to sink this far. Would not recommend. If I could send back I would be since it's so big I can't.

Very disappointed that it never rose to 10" level-- stopped at 8.25". Only reason for a couple of stars is because Sam's Club accepted the return with no problem. The mattress construction looked same as the one I have, which inflated instantly to the full thickness upon opening the box, but Zinus mattress never reached the height after 5 days and nights. Should have listened to the other reviewers with the same issue.

We bought this for our daughter as she was sleeping on a very old spring mattress. Her friend recommended a memory foam mattress. After some research, we decided on the Zinus Night Therapy. She loves it, much more comfortable than a spring mattress!!

We purchased 3 of these mattresses (queen). Two were for bunkbeds and one for a murphy bed. The level of softness does seem to vary to some degree, but overall I think it is very comfortable. My youngest daughter is 10 and cannot easily weigh down a sack of potatoes, so for her it is a bit firm. I would consider this mattress medium firm and good for the average person or child 13 years or older. There was no odor, and the mattress came to about 9.5" by the end of 5 days. There are some indents in the middle foam at the corners, but it doesn't seem to compromise the structural integrity at the corners (but worth removing one star as it's not perfect). Sam's shipping was quick and reliable.

Bought for my son to replace his twin size mattress. Paired it with a metal frame the mattress sits on. The mattress took about 3 hours to reach full size and did have a strong smell initially, which makes sense since it was manufactured and sealed right away. We set it in my son's room and opened his windows for a couple of days to "air it out". After a couple of days, there was no longer any smell. Even after 1-2 days, there was barely any smell, but we wanted to be sure since other's had complained it never went away. Maybe they should have aired it out for longer? We bought a mattress protector and my son has said it is super comfortable. My wife and I tried it out and it is more comfortable than our more expensive mattress. If you need a guest room mattress or a replacement that is not expense, we think this is a great option!

Bought this mattress for my daughters room. I was skeptical when we took it out of the box because it was packed so tight but it quickly filled out and is very thick and comfortable. I do suggest that if you can, open it and let it air out for a while before putting it in the room. It doesn't have a weird, plasticy smell for a bit. Absolutely recommend!

My daughter's crib transformed into a full size bed, she is 2 and we went ahead and transformed it because she would move so much and end up cramped in the corner of the crib. I purchased this mattress to help and hope that she would have plenty of room to move during the night, but she sleeps so soundly on this mattress that she is almost the exact place she fell asleep the next day. There is also plenty of room to lay in bed with her and read story books which we love. It is very confortable, but it is very soft, my wife slept on it one night with her during the transition and complained the next morning about her back hurting, but we are used to sleeping on a firm mattress due to my back issues. We are pleased with this purchase.

Received the mattress in a small box. Removed it from the plastic, unrolled it and watched it grow. Let it air out for a few hours. (Did NOT have a strong or foul odor as mentioned by others.) Found the mattress to be very comfortable. Thinking about replacing my $1,500 mattress with a Zinus. DEFINITELY WORTH EVERY CENT!
