I have had my Rubbermaid Brilliance in all sizes and I love them. I don't know what others are doing with theirs but they last for years. 4 years in and I would not trade them in. Actually I moved over from the traditional Rubbermaid storage containers to the Brilliance collection. Rubbermaid us very good quality. They may scratch but don't break. If they do you are doing something wrong. Love the fact that they are clear and have the snap lid. Bug proof. Not fresh seal tho. But I'm sure you'll improve that soon.

It's leak-proof to be sure: hubby had bring broccoli soup to work and no spills in his backpack (full of work stuff) after a 30min ride to work in bus! It was also very easy to clean: just a sweap in and it's good to go again. I always like to try to make my lunches ahead of time if possible, but salads are a tricky one. You can't add the toppings or the dressing ahead of time or the whole thing will get soggy- but I hate using multiple containers or baggies to bring all the ingredients for later. The lid stayed tightly closed and very easy to use. We used it to store my cooked rice in, and we were amazed at how much it held, and the lid never came off in the middle of transport. I would and will totally recommend this to everyone!

These I bought on a whim, thought they were attractive. Once I opened the box an used them I really was sold on the perfect sizes? The durable string plastic. The lids are super sturdy and close easily. You need to secure two sides and that's it! The seal that is created once closed is excellent. No spills because there is a special rubber piece that creates the seal. I'm Sold!

I always have leftovers so am the proud owner of a lot of storage containers. This new one looked really nice and felt good in my hands. I popped some leftover beans with sauce in there and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was totally leak proof when I tipped it upside down! I am very dissatisfied with the plastic line. I made multiple purchases of the brilliance line in glass and plastic when moving into our new home. They are not microwave safe nor dishwasher. Let’s just say when I called Rubbermaid and I was told that they can only go in the microwave for 30 seconds and that they should go on the top rack in the dishwasher. Not sorry that you feel that way can we offer you a promo code etc. while she chewed in my ear. Nevertheless, DO NOT GET THE PLASTIC.
