(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Rubbermaid's new Brilliance food container is perfect for my family's needs. Not only is the design clear so you can see through easily, but it is stain and odour resistant. Most importantly, the containers are BPA-free. The design also allows the lid to be kept on while heating in the microwave, which prevents splattering (perfect for work lunches) and vents the hot air through small holes that can be uncovered on the lid. It's also leak-proof, so your lunch box is protected. These containers really do have it all. Would definitely recommend.

When I first opened it, I could hear the vacuum seal let go of the air, which is a very good indication of it being tight. Easy to scoop out with my measuring cups. Easy to clean. Easily fits a full bag of rice and beans, now these items stay fresh until I can finish Highly recommend.

I bought 5 of these containers so my husband could take chili for lunch 5 days a week. They were awesome...never leaking in his backpack. I wash them in the dishwasher, top rack. Now all 5 leak and I have to seal them in a plastic bag. Planned obsolescence? Just out of the 1 year warranty period and out of luck. These were not cheap. I had hoped they would last longer. I'm not sure what to replace them with.

I personally prefer the glass version, but this is a good option for anyone who doesn't like the heaviness of glass or have children around. The lids are definitely waterproof!

It is microwave safe with it's special flaps on the top, allowing you to microwave your food directly in the container, without anything splattering. The special suction on the top allows food to stay fresh because of the seal. It is dishwasher safe and doesn't stain. My only qualm is that it's not glass :)

We threw away all items that were expired, but the fun began when we started to pick and choose which container we wanted to use to store our items. Pantries are not my thing, but to all the married guys out there, not going to lie, this was actually fun to do with my wife. Once we had the sugar here, and the pasta there, and started putting like items together in these easy lockable lids, our pantry not only looked organized, everything was completely visible with these clear containers. In my opinion, Rubbermaid is the way to go on this set. Well worth acquiring, and perfect for any household. Be creative and remember it doesn't just have to be the pantry. Perfect Wedding Registry item too for you young couples out there!

There is no leakage whatsoever.i have also tried microwaving with it and the vents are great. Surprisingly this product has worked better than I expected. I thought after a few washes there would be leaking but nothing. I have recommended this product to everyone.

I like both of them the Glass dont feel super heavy at all and the plastic feels very durable . I love the air tight and leak proof. Both are microwave safe. Will be buying more.

I have very lazy kiddos and a hubby who NEVER closes bags up and therefore, everything goes stale. I used 1 for pasta, and 3 for snacks. They were a great space saver, sturdy, and kept everything fresh and wonderful! My favorite thing is the see through clear containers, as it prevents the half opened container that can be left as someone peeks in to see what is in said container. These are wonderful, and I am absolutely getting more!
