At first I really liked this product and started to replace all my other containers with various sizes of this one so therefore the age and usage of them all varies. I've been using the product in general for a little less than a year I suppose and started to notice cracks appearing in different ones. I've already thrown away a couple of the smaller ones thinking it was something I did wrong but now noticing something different. Yesterday I put a perfectly clear 3.2 cup container in the dishwasher and it came out this morning cracked and looking like a spider web. I went back to read about the care recommendations again and there was nothing specific about dishwashers. very disappointed. Jury still out whether I will buy again.

I was so excited to purchase a couple of sets of these: Rubbermaid Brilliance Food Storage Container Set, 14-piece, Clear : (#7U27) They were lovely AND could be used in microwave (bonus for leftovers for lunch), super stackable, easy to use, etc etc. Even my kids and husband commented on them. However, after less than 8 months of use 3 of the pieces cracked in multiple places. They have been used in the microwave, but never put in the freezer and only in a dishwasher 2-3 times. I so disappointed! I never pay big money for storage containers...just wait to find them at rummage sales...and the one time I do. Blech.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Love the medium size Lock In Brillance container from Rubbermaid ! For a medium container it's very large! Perfect for lunches. Didnt leak any liquids which is a giant positive! Hate leaky messes in my lunch. Like the vent system for the microwave use as well. Easy to close and cleans up well. Definately would buy again and recommend to others!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First things first do not stack them inside each other I had one heck of a time trying to get them unstuck. Second they are awesome for storing anything! And I mean anything! They come in three different sizes and I use them for cookies or sugar, even cereal. They clean easy and the lids lock tight on them to keep anything out and from spilling. They are worth the money I wish I had more!

I'm a Rubbermaid fan. I love their storage containers. They keep bugs out of the cereal. They're securely closed and airtight. Storage capacity is just right. The design is simple and easy to use. The quality is fantastic. Cleaning is easy. My family eats cereal all the time. We used to get bugs in the generic containers we used. But since using the Rubbermaid containers nothing gets in them. They are fantastic. And worth every cent. I highly recommend them.

I bought two sets of containers that included a total of 4 of this size container (2 in each set). 3 out of 4 of these have cracked. I have not dropped any of them, never put them in the freezer, and they have gotten microwaved for 1.5 minutes a handful of times each. I really like the idea of these containers and love that they are leakproof, but they should NOT be cracking so easily with light usage.

My boyfriend cooked a bunch of stuff for sliders, but we were watching at a friends house, so we had to transport a bunch of food with us. This container was sturdy and durable and didn’t leak on the journey. One of our other containers did not prevent leaking, so I can say I’m very happy with this one. It seems like it will hold up for a while which is good since I try to limit using plastic products with short lives.

The different sizes are stackable and easily fit on my pantry shelf. The set has helped me organize my pantry, and I highly recommend this product.

I have had my Rubbermaid Brilliance in all sizes and I love them. I don't know what others are doing with theirs but they last for years. 4 years in and I would not trade them in. Actually I moved over from the traditional Rubbermaid storage containers to the Brilliance collection. Rubbermaid us very good quality. They may scratch but don't break. If they do you are doing something wrong. Love the fact that they are clear and have the snap lid. Bug proof. Not fresh seal tho. But I'm sure you'll improve that soon.
