While they are great when they are new. The lids start breaking at about one year. This is without any abuse, and top rack dishwasher. I bought myself and my daughter in law large sets. The clips that hold the lid on start breaking about the same time, Some of the lids cracked up bad.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) You know, I am one of the biggest skeptics out there, and the fact that the plastic was hard made me really unsure that it would be leak proof. But it worked great and I was really impressed. I put in water with a drop of food colouring to see it and nothing came out when I tipped it over the sink! Super happy about that!

Got these a few weeks ago. They’ve been fine for salads and such. Nothing liquid so I don’t know if they leak. Went to microwave and the second round of thirty seconds did this.... The suction of the lids makes it really hard to get the tops off. Went through dishwasher safely. Look nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m blown away by how great Rubbermaid’s containers are. This plastic one is so perfect for storing leftovers, fruits and veggies or even transporting with you if you have snacks or lunch in there. Would definitely get more of these!

I liked the Brilliance design originally. The bottoms stack well, and you can fit multiple containers within the largest container as an organizer. More efficient than our older Premier containers However, the lids are the opposite - They really can't be securely stacked on top of each other like all our previous Rubbermaid Premier products. The lids take up more vertical space, as well. So, the bottoms can be stored nice and neat on our shelves, while the lids are messy and unstable. We held on to one of our old large Premier bottoms to help organize the Brilliance lids from falling all over the place.

I bought a couple sets of the Brilliance plastic. Within a year, most are cloudy looking, and or are cracking all over. For the cost, these should last for several years, not just one year or less. We have soft water, and top rack in the dish washer. Extremely disappointed in having to replace them already. I'm going to have to find a different company's product as I don't believe in Rubbermaid now.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I picked up my Rubbermaid Brilliance container a few days ago. I used it to take soup to work and store left over chilli. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was 100 leak proof. Not a drop spilled out. The built in vents under the latches made it very easy to microwave. This feature meant the lid could stay on to eliminate splatters. Important when using it work. Cuts down on microwave cleaning at home too Like the fact that it is BPA free. Another great feature is that it is crystal clear making it very easy to see the contents. After storing chilli it didn't stain the container. After washing the container it was completely odour free. Another nice feature is it is dishwasher and freezer safe as well. I'll be purchasing more of these containers.

They are a great size if you are looking for a lunch sized container that you want to store your food in but also go straight into the microwave with. It is BPA free so nothing's leaching out into your food. There's also a glass version if you're still worried about that. The top seems to seal tightly. You can also stack these with the same type of container, bonus!
