[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow Rubbermaid! I see you coming for my money. This isn’t flimsy plastic like most containers. It’s a nice dense material. I took off one star because I’m trying to limit my use of plastics. Honestly I still would recommend it though since it is reusable.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I finally found the container after a lot of hunting and our local store had them hidden in shelves of water bottles for some reason. I was happy with how easy it was to wash the container and lid. Much moreso than some of the competitors. I stored in it a bunch of leftover butter chicken which is notorious for staining any and everything and have yet to see any stains. Yay! The only thing I was and still am hesitant about is the supposed vents. I keep looking at the latches and trying to determine just how those would truly vent the dish in the microwave and thus I just cannot bring myself to try that feature. I envision microsplatter and hours cleaning. It does have a great seal though as I learned when I was half asleep and stored the dish upside down in the fridge by accident.

I have had my Rubbermaid Brilliance in all sizes and I love them. I don't know what others are doing with theirs but they last for years. 4 years in and I would not trade them in. Actually I moved over from the traditional Rubbermaid storage containers to the Brilliance collection. Rubbermaid us very good quality. They may scratch but don't break. If they do you are doing something wrong. Love the fact that they are clear and have the snap lid. Bug proof. Not fresh seal tho. But I'm sure you'll improve that soon.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I first learned of this product when chosen to review it. By the product name and look, I thought it was a glass container. It is actually a thicker plastic than most food containers and a little bit heavier, but not too noticeable. I was happy to see that it is BPA-free, and also is microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. I stored chili in my Brilliance container. I put my trust in the seal and held my full container sideways. No leakage. I felt much more confident now and turned the container completely upside down. Nothing happened. It was awesome. You can see how tight the seal is. You could throw the container into a bag and not worry at all how it is sitting and if it will leak. I was a little hesitant to microwave it with the lid on because the seal is so tight, so I loosened the top a little bit, but didn't experience any issues. I did find that the container got quite hot, and that my food didn't heat evenly (one side was super hot, and the other side was lukewarm). After finishing my meal, I soaked the container as I normally would, but I could see right away that all the sauce was getting removed. After a washing, the product looked good as new, with no sauce stain. The only issue I have is the price. However, after usage I can tell this is a quality product, and if after multiple uses it continue to fulfill all of its claims, it is well worth the money.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Rubbermaid™ BRILLIANCE™ food storage containers are perfect for reheating food on the go! The containers are leakproof, even with soup! What's awesome about the product is that you can store your leftovers in it and then take it right to work, pop in the microwave and not have to worry about the product melting. The lid is also great because you can leave it on and just vent it in the microwave to reduce splatter. The product is quite expensive in comparison to glass containers. The cost per container would deter me in the future of purchasing the product.

I bought a small set to start and now I am obsessed with these containers. I use them for food storage, lunch leftovers, dry good storage...you name it. I am hoping that Rubbermaid would consider creating a divider for the large 9.6 cup container - I like to put fruit in that but don't necessary want two different fruits to touch. Something similar to the divider for the salad container would be fine. If not, I'll deal and keep loving my Rubbermaid Brilliance storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These containers are great for those items that are just too big to store without cutting/dividing up in order to fit in the container. For example, store-bought celery easily fits into the container. Really like the locking feature as well. When locking, a satisfying 'poof' of air is released which makes me think there is also a component of vacuum sealing happening. They seem very sturdy and while the size is a bit awkward in my dishwasher, I find hand washing these easy. When opening, it does take a bit more effort than expected, so those who struggle to open a jar might also find these more challenging to open than others.

Product is amazing. I have several brands of food storage containers. They all work well at first. Gaskets loosen after a short while and the containers lose their airtightness. NOT these! They expel air when closed and remain airtight. So airtight sometimes difficult to remove the lid. That's ok. Leak proof. I stored brown sugar for months and still remains soft! No other brand comes close!

It's completely leakproof we're loving it! Compared to other brands it definitely has an edge to it. I would recommend to friends and we've used it for soup and chili already and tipping it shows no leaks at all! Great product and well designed!

What first caught my attention with this product was the great look. Once I opened the package, I really liked the vacuum seal that the lids provide. My husband said that it kept his sandwich bread especially fresh, even in the refrigerator (rather than getting moist or dried out). The containers seem scratch resistant and I have has no problems washing them in the dishwasher. They come out clean/clear like glass, with no residues sinking into the plastic. Most importantly the containers can be dropped (accidentally or thrown by a toddler) and have no chips or cracks.
