It is designed to be leak-proof and airtight, stain and odor resistant, modular, and BPA free which pretty important features for a pantry set. I love the fact that they are also freezer, microwave, and dishwasher safe which makes them multi-purpose. They are also perfect for storing pet food if you have pets. Pretty solid product overall.

These containers are no joke, from messy beans with sauce to soup I haven't experienced a leak yet - and I've dealt with so-called "leak proof" containers in the past that did a good job but not this foolproof. Would highly recommend, they seem sturdy and like they will stand up for a long time against wear and tear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great containers. They are clear see through, so it is easy to know what is inside without having to open them. They have a great seal when closed. Be careful and follow the directions for cleaning and use or you could damage these containers.

I bought 5 of these containers so my husband could take chili for lunch 5 days a week. They were awesome...never leaking in his backpack. I wash them in the dishwasher, top rack. Now all 5 leak and I have to seal them in a plastic bag. Planned obsolescence? Just out of the 1 year warranty period and out of luck. These were not cheap. I had hoped they would last longer. I'm not sure what to replace them with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like using plastic storage containers as I have kids (including a toddler) who sometimes like to sneak in my fridge so having containers that won’t break is imperative. This is made with very high quality plastic so it’s sturdy and will last a good amount of time. I didn’t notice any staining on the plastic even when using red sauce. The lid sits very secure and firm and keeps food very fresh for a good amount of time. Very happy with this!

This is a very nice looking container...very simple to use..lock is easy to use...i used it to store soup...it did not leak at all...it is amazing to see how secure the liquid soup was...this would be perfect for traveling..there would be no spill....it also clean up very easily...no stain noted..this is a very strong and well made container.

I was surprised by the versatility of the sizes from very small for things like dips to incredibly large for pasta or whatever. I love the lid because the locking mechanism, while it’s easy to open, it feels very secure and I can tell and feel the suction as you lock it. This set probably has the best range of sizes of any Rubbermaid’s that I’ve had and the durability and construction of each individual container feels sturdy and feels quality. Very happy with the set and would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a Rubbermaid set up an easy to use a lid and a great range of Storage options Storage options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this set. It is sturdy and holds up well for everyday use. I use the larger canisters for dry goods, coffees, flours, and sugar. Then I use the smaller for leftovers in the fridge. The lids have a great seal and keep the products fresh. I would recommend this set of canisters to others.

The easy clasp that lock the lid move easily and it has a built in rubber rim for added leak proofing. The lid has also been designed well that you can stack more then one. Plastic seems strong and durable and I have not noticed any scraps from use or washing.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) For the past week I've been testing the Rubbermaid brilliance container and it is awesome! Spill proof (I tested with soup and pasta sauce and not a drop fell out!), super light weight, bpa free and the clips are super easy to close and open (I've tried a lot of containers with these types of clips and they are normally super hard to close or don't stay close)! I've been using the medium size (3.2 cups)which is a little large for my lunch, but perfect for my husband's! It's dishwasher proof but really easy to clean (doesn't stain, even with pasta sauce!) Great for the microwave, you don't even have to remove the lid, it has ventilation holes under the latches! They also stack perfectly! Love it! I highly recommend it!
