This is a great swing set.

Pros:Durable,Weather Resistant,Sturdy,Attractive Design Best Uses:Small Children,Group Play,Physical Activity,Older Children,Individual Play Describe Yourself:Grandparent Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. We wanted a nice swing set for our two year old granddaughter that she could grow into, wanted the fort, rope ladder, the whole bit, that would last as long as she needed it, as well as for future children. My son didn't want the upkeep of wood, and my husband didn't think the wood ones were worth the money they charge for a good strong one. My husband and sons are tradesman - plumber, HVAC tech, mechanic - so assembly was not difficult. Took about 6 hours total, finished under spotlight at 10:30 pm. They just followed the directions step by step. My granddaughter just loves it, loves to swing, also loves the helicopter. We're sure she will get many years out of it.

Long lasting and entertaining

I bought this 6 years ago and it has held up wonderfully. My kids and their friends still play on it all of the time, even my 12 yr old. It's very durable, as kids have climbed all over it. The only thing we have broken is the clear plastic on the binoculars. And that is after LOTS of wear. I'm so glad we bought this instead of the wooden ones where kids would get splinters.

Even Nicer Than Expected - Great Customer Service

We just completed installation of the playset. A few parts (a few bolts and nuts and two metal links) were missing. Sent an email to customer service overnight and followed up with a phone call the next day. They couldn't have been more responsive. The parts were delivered before noon the following day! The product is very solid and stable even with a good-sized 6th-grader swinging as high as he could. Our four-year old child with Down's Syndrome is already able to swing, climb onto the elevated platform by stair and rope ladder, and use the slide unassisted. Can't keep her off it. :-)

Great Customer service

My dog chewed up one of the pieces as I was putting our set together in the yard and so much that it was demolished beyond repair. Very frustrating... but I called lifetime and they were happy to help and sent me the piece. Will be referring this brand to friends in the future.

Very well designed and built

Pros:Durable,Attractive Design,Sturdy,Easy Assembly Describe Yourself:First Time Parent,Working Parent Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. The instructions were quite well written which is a nice change compared to what we're all used to when assembling things. Yesterday, three of us spent 7 hours assembling this very well built play set. It is sturdy and solid. It is clear the designers intended to build a quality product.

The BEST & BIGGEST BANG for your BUCKS!!

Pros:Weather Resistant,Hours of Fun,Sturdy,Easy Assembly,Attractive Design,Durable,"Best Value","Just Like the Park" Best Uses:Group Play,Individual Play,Physical Activity,Small Children,Older Children Describe Yourself:Stay At Home Parent,Parent Of Two Or More Children,Education Oriented Was this a gift?:Yes Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I researched playgrounds for about 1 year b/c we get 100 mph winds. This was the only playground that was sturdy enough to hold up, didn't wobble (even when I swing on it), was commercial grade, affordable, and I can play on it with my kids. And unlike its wooden counterparts I love that I don't have to worry how many kids can safely use it b/c of weight limits. Best of all - NO MAINTENANCE! The green/tan colors seem to blend in with the trees in my backyard (like camouflage) but you can get this in primary colors if you like it bright. We entertain a lot and the kids go right to it like a moth to a flame. If you can fit it...Get it!

Safety issue

This playset is very good quality. I have a few concerns about safety. First my grandchild just about fell over the edge onto his head as he slipped at the top of the ladder by the climbing wall. With no protection there to catch him thankfully my daughter was close and caught him . I asked if I could buy a railing like the one beside the slide to put there to prevent a fall but I was told no . 2) the ladder going up to the covered in part is very slippery and wide apart rungs . Another grandchild was climbing up and her boot slipped and she fell straight through hitting her head and nose. Thankfully no teeth . I would like to see solid plastic steps made to replace the railings . Otherwise it is a good product .

Sturdy, good fit and finish!

We have had this play set for 6 months and it has been great. I assembled it myself and while it took two evenings, it wasn't too complex. This thing is sturdy. I'm a big guy and I have climbed on the platform, used the slide and the swings and they have all held up. Even with adults on the swings, the A-frame never rocks off the ground. Our yard is not large, so the smaller footprint of this set was attractive. Even with the smaller size, there are many activities from the propeller swing and baby bucket swing that we added to the larger swings, playhouse and rock wall that older kids like. I would definitely recommend it.

We have had ours for 10 years!

We bought the A Frame playset 10 years ago. We have 5 children and LOTS of neighbors who have enjoyed it. And it still looks great! There is a bit of wear, but I imagine this playset will last at least another 10+ years. My only suggestion is follow the instructions. Read them all the way through first, like it suggests.
