one quirk

Love Vizio. Use them for work with The AV Guys all the time. This one had a software glitch that we solved by reinstalling everything. Pain in the butt as we already put in all the passwords for several apps already, but it solved the problem. TV looks great now.

Beautiful picture but the sound is horrible

We LOVE the picture on this tv and the tv itself is sleek and beautiful. The only complaint we have is that the sound isn't great. We have to turn it up to almost 80 to hear dialogue and then of course when there is bangs or anything they are way too loud. We ordered a sound bar hoping that will help but after paying that much for the tv I was bummed that we had to then spend more on a sound bar.

Sensational Color Depth - Rapid OS Interface

I treated myself to a Black Friday Vizio Television and so far (3 weeks in) I have Zero regrets in the choice I made. I did some research on QLED technology and deduced that the common theme was the exceptional color performance. My current television was an almost 10 year old Vizio (smart TV) and had served it’s purpose well, but the OS (operating system) was slow compared to a connected plug in streaming device and the color reproduction was noticeably inferior to neighbors / store systems (naturally older technology). I considered other well known brands with QLED displays and factored cost, WiFi speed and other attributes which led me to the Vizio Q65. The result was night and day. The default mode color and brightness was stunning to say the least. I wondered if I needed to turn it down but deduced that we had been accustomed to a significantly lower color and brightness combination for many years. It’s incredible to see the depth of blue red and green colors (especially in sports). Studio shots (like news anchors) are so rich and appear in crystal clear definition and clarity. However the feature that has won me over definitively is the speed of the OS (navigation around the menus, switching from app to app). It is lightning speed - the remote control response is near instantaneous. I have the Vizio remote control app on my phone and find this just as responsive (for those times the remote control unit goes “missing” in my household). The app version of the remote control mimics the physical one exactly. I like the fact that this TV has WiFi 6 which make the link speed to my router rapid (over 600 Mbps). This ensures flawless streaming. I have linked the TV to my home automation (Alexa control) and can thus use voice commands to turn on/off the TV and perform other tasks (volume/ launch apps). I use a soundbar connected via the HDMI ARC (audio return channel). Great choice and enjoying this QLED experience so far. You won’t regret it. I’m watching television how it’s supposed to be watched: crystal clear and panoramic.

Great Product

Power surge git my old Vizio, got this one for a great price and I really like the upgrades on the remote,... able to handle everything on one remote--google tv, soundboard, antenna, etc. Add to that a great picture and you have a great product for the price

Good TV for the Money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is a very nice TV for the price. My wife and I have enjoyed using it. The only two things that were kind of low, the audio seems to be all over the place between the app services and the sounds sounds muffled in some apps. Also the app that comes with the TV needs a bit more power to it. We created an account and it asked what our favorite apps were and I marked them. You would think the TV would have a "favorites" app section that used the app markings I did, but so far the app on the phones is not reflected on the TV. The apps are a little bit on the un organized side, but that is a minor issue.

Better than Roku!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to only get Roku but my sister’s Roku randomly malfunctioned. It would shut off randomly then eventually it just wouldn’t turn back on. Then maybe 6 months later mine started to do the same. I didn’t want to get another Roku so I got a Samsung smart tv and it was fine but the remote was actually really uncomfortable to use especially with my nails and they’re not even that long and it just felt like super cheap quality even just looking at it. Their remote app also sucked, I couldn’t even turn the tv on and it didn’t have up and down buttons. I ended up moving and gave that Samsung to my sister and I decided to give Vizio a chance. I am actually so impressed! I love the look of the home screen, and the remote app is so sleek and works great! The remote fits comfortably in my hand and it’s not cluttered with a million buttons. If I ever decide to get another tv I will definitely get another Vizio.

Built in apps stutter

When watching YouTubeTV app the playback stutters every few minutes. It’s not my internet as it works fine on other tvs and in hardwired to router. Ad to purchase a Roku to get the stuttering to not happen which defeats the purpose of have the smart tv.

This Repeat Customer is Even Happier!

I bought this to replace an older Vizio that didn’t have the QLED technology and I’m very impressed with the quality and features. Setup was straightforward and this senior citizen had no problems. I paired this with a Vizio 2.1 soundbar-subwoofer and it exceeds my expectations! I feel that this model offers great value compared to other major brands with the same features. Two thumbs up!

Fantastic Picture!

I bought this just a few weeks ago, and I loved it! A family member didn't think there would be much of a difference in picture quality compared to my previous TV (not a Vizio). I turned them both on, side by side, and she was shocked! The image quality is beyond what I expected. The free VizioTV is great, as well. The only thing I am not happy about is the sound quality, which may not even be a Vizio issue but a provider issue. I do not have a soundbar, and I noticed that the volume from one streaming service to the next differs greatly. However, I've also noticed that happens with movies or shows on the same service, so again, I think it's a provider issue more than Vizio.

Excellent!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this TV a week ago and I am so happy. The picture is outstanding! Easy setup, amazing picture and great app. App can be used for a remote, but I like the fact you can adjust the settings on the tv with nothing displaying but the picture and the changes are instant. Great way to fine tune the picture to your liking.
