Wimpy pale salad

Bought salad two days ago. Used it the following day. Very pale green lettuce, limp, There were large dried clumps of lettuce (which added to the weight of the package), even a dried brown core mixed in. Usually salad will make four servings for two adults. I could only use one serving. The rest of the salad I had to throw away because it was turning brown and stale. Not the 'quality' I would expect from Taylor Farms. By the way, I had purchased a package of their salad mix, at another store. The packaged mix was stale and didn't taste very good-had to throw the rest away. What's happened to Taylor Farms?!

Photo online misrepresents

The online photo of the this salad mix package online clearly has romaine lettuce photoshopped behind the packaging design. The actual salad is composed of iceberg lettuce. Did not read the small print before I ordered, believed the photo. Very disappointed in the misrepresentation.

You Never Know

Last bag purchased was 6 days away from the expiration date. When the bag was opened out came this disgusting odor. The product looked fresh but 2.5lbs went straight into the trash. The brand at my store was Dole and I can't see wasting my money on future purchases because you never know what you're getting. Sort of shocked at the lack of quality control.

purchase only if feeding the masses

I would not recommend buying this bag of salad if you’re not feeling a lot of people and finishing it the same day you open the bag. if you plan on just eating this yourself and keeping it in your vegetable crisper, it will not last. Salad always ends up, mushy and soggy and wet by the next day

Taylor Farms Garden Salad 2- 2 lb bags

Bought 2 bags of Taylor Farms Garden Salad. The shopper inadvertently picked 2 bags, 1 that was pretty soggy on the left side of the bag, w/ brown creepiness on the right side. The soggiest salad had a 9/29 expiration date. The 2nd bag with a Sept 30 expiration date, I might get 2 or 3 servings from it. I do usually order 2- 2lb bags , first x in 2 yrs I've ever had a complaint. My suggestion would be a thorough daily check in produce dept to make sure only quality produce makes it into the cart. I do appreciate all the hard wok the shoppers do, it's a tough job. Thank you.

Routinely degrades into green mush in 3-4 days!

Their bagged produce is SUCH a disappointment. The BEST BUY date doesn't matter. If you're not going to finish the bad within 48 hours, do not buy. It just decomposes into green mush starting the moment you pick it up. SO disappointed. JUST bought 5 bags good for 8 days FROM purchase date? Had to dispose of 4 of them, just turning gooey almost 5 days away from BEST BUY date. Never again.

Excellent business strategy! Charging for compost

I bought this salad a week ago, it did not look good when I picked up my order—no green in sight. The next day, it was almost not edible. Two days after purchase, it was soggy, limp, and disgusting; it ended up in the compost pile. I am always disappointed in this product. I do not know why I continue to buy it. I would give 0 out of 5 if that were an option. This seems to be the unsellable parts of the iceberg head. I will give it to Taylor Farms, they are committed to "no waste" by selling this product. Charging others to compost it. Excellent business strategy!

Absolutely Terrible!!!!

Something has changed in the last few months with this salad. I can't get more than 2 days before it's turns brown and gets mushy. I've bought 4 or 5 bags in the past 6 months, going each tube I would get a different result. No luck. I am going back to buying the funding hate and processing my salad by hand.

Too Bitter!

I'm sure a regular batch deserves a 5 out of 5, but the bag I got is barely edible and horribly bitter. If your bag is this bitter, I would ask for an exchange. I had this delivered because I don't have a car and it takes too long for me to get to my local Sam's.

Not same brand salad as sold in Mishawaka club.

The salad shown is excellent, but it's not the same salad that's sold in the Mishawaka IN store. The actual salad sold in the store is a Dole brand garden salad, not Taylor garden salad. There's a huge difference. The Taylor garden salad is a iceburg, red cabbage, and carrot mix. The Dole brand is not. Once opened the Dole brand lasts just a couple days max, the Taylor brand last for several days. We have had to throw out several bags of the Dole brand after just a couple days. What a huge waste of money, we won't be buying it anymore. BRING back the Taylor brand to Mishawaka!!!!
