I'm done purchasing this item. In my experience there is a good 60-75% chance that a brand-new bag, opened several days to a week before its "best by" date, will have a significant portion already brown or browning. I don't know if the handling between field and store is inadequate, but something is clearly not right. Sure, it's inexpensive for the amount in the package, but when half or more gets thrown away, it's not a value item.

IF.. you buy a well packaged and fresh bag...you'll be happy with the product. When I include this in an online order..I'm typically disappointed as they usually don't read sell-by info. I've thrown away 3-4 entire bags due to decaying produce. Sam's needs better shoppers. Bottom-line, it's hit-or-miss with the product.

I normally don’t have a problem, but this time I do over half of my lettuce in this bag was brown and wilted. This was not good at all. I understand our drivers pick our items but Sam’s Club should have people going through their checking their products and pulling off the bad stuff

Great value

This salad is always fresh and crisp with an amazing price. We usually buy this for our catering business along with some Romaine to make a very reasonably price salad and dressing for our customers. But, like with many other of Sam's Club food items, it would be nice if the food/nutrition label would also be displayed on the website for those of us that do not live in a city where there is a Sam's Club for pricing purposes. I usually have to wait to give customers quotes when I can get to the closest club which is over an hour away.
