These bags are a good price but they go bad before the expiration date. Bought 9/2, went to open 9/4 and it was wilted and full of water. The expiration was 9/8. Not such a good price if it's going straight in the trash.

Been buying this bagged salad for years up until maybe a month ago. Every time I go in to buy it, every package is gross and wet. They need to dry the lettuce before putting it in the bag and sealing it. Disappointing.

Ordered pick up.....noticed both bags of my Salad were "wet"......the next morning they were "slimy" and still sealed. What a waste. Won't buy again!

This is the 3rd time purchasing and it goes bad quickly. This last purchase came straight out of the bag, slimy, as though it was put in the bag wet. Limp, slimy, I give up! This is the 3rd time I am throwing more than half of it away.

Product is usually good and lasts a good number of days before turning pink. It is NOT as good as what this picture suggests, though. Very little actual green leaf.

If you are going to eat all of this in on sitting, then, it's OK. I opened it the same day I bought it, it was fine but two days later on Easter, when I needed it, it was orange and slimy. I had to throw the whole thing away. I'm not getting this every again.

This product needs to be eaten within a few days of opening bag or the entire bag will liquify. Worst salad product I have ever purchased due to how short of a shelf life. Not sure if manufacturer does not suck the air out of the bag prior to sealing it or why it rots so much faster than every other brand. Unless you plan to use this up in a day spend the extra money and get the better salad mix.

I bought this as a shortcut but I spent more time picking out the bad/brown lettuce than I would have spent cleaning & cutting it all myself. Most of the lettuce was brown stems. The package was purchased the day before & still 5 days within date. I ended up buying more lettuce to make a whole salad. Very disappointed, this took more time instead of less.

I bought a bag of this on a pick-up order recently. As soon as I got home, I could see a fair amount of rotten lettuce all squishy in the bag. It didn't smell very good when I opened it and because my Sam's Club is about 15 miles away, it was not worth returning it so I threw it in my compost pile. This is not the first time I have had trouble with this lettuce.

The price is great, however, it lasts only a couple days so you'd better be craving LOTS of salad. The reason I think it goes bad so fast is because it's literally sitting in water, the smaller bags by the same brand seem to go through the salad spinner after washing, this big bag does not, it's weird. It would be such a great product otherwise.
